Not only has Mark Zuckerberg instituted the same speech restrictions on the general public that totalitarians have imposed in the past, he has installed the same terrifying techniques with Facebook employees.
Mark Zuckerberg reportedly deploys ‘secret police’ to catch leakers at Facebook
- An unnamed employee said he was called into a meeting last year under the guise of a promotion and found himself in front of Facebook’s investigative team armed with proof he’d been leaking to the press.
- The investigative team had records of screenshots the employee had taken and links he had visited or even just hovered over.
Sara Salinas | CNBC:Facebook and CEO Mark Zuckerberg deploy a “secret police” to catch leakers in the company, The Guardian reported Friday, citing a person who worked there.
The unnamed employee said he was called into a meeting last year under the guise of a promotion and found himself in front of Facebook’s investigative team armed with proof he’d been leaking to the press.
Story continues below advertisement“It’s horrifying how much they know,” the employee told The Guardian. “You go into Facebook and it has this warm, fuzzy feeling of ‘we’re changing the world’ and ‘we care about things’. But you get on their bad side and all of a sudden you are face to face with [Facebook CEO] Mark Zuckerberg’s secret police.”
The investigative team, headed by Sonya Ahuja — confirmed by her LinkedIn profile — had records of screenshots the employee had taken and links he had visited or even just hovered over.The investigators also indicated they had records of chats between the employee and a journalist.
“When you first get to Facebook you are shocked at the level of transparency. You are trusted with a lot of stuff you don’t need access to,” the employee told The Guardian. “The counterbalance to giving you this huge trusting environment is if anyone steps out of line, they’ll squash you like a bug.”
Facebook did not immediately respond to a request for comment from CNBC, but a company spokesperson told The Guardian, “Companies routinely use business records in workplace investigations, and we are no exception.”

These are fascist monopolies that need to be broken up and charged with infringing on free speech. Sessions really frustrates me… Any news on McCabe? Will the criminal be able to retire with a fat pension?

Unfortunately, lw, that McCabe was fired will not cut off his pension, just postpone it ’til he’s 57yo (just turned 50). Unless more charges are brought against him his pension won’t be touched. Again, pension simply delayed

What is ironic is Zuckie is a self-hating Jew…..and like in Hitler’s time…there were plenty of those who helped Hitler wipe out 6 million of their people….which puts him in the same category as George Soros….born a Hungarian Jew who hated his people. Changed his name and joined Hitler’s camp to tell the Nazis where the Jews were hiding and where their valuables were.
The Nazis would go in, take the wealth and march the Jews off to death camps….and Soros was handsomely rewarded…which became the basis for his wealth that he now uses to force “nazi-like” standards on everyone else.

He also was involved with Obama in the meddling in the Israeli Prime Minister election trying to force out Bibi….$400,000 US dollars were used against BB by Obama minions who were there trying to stop Bibi…..
Over time these little facts have been forgotten and lost…. people need to remember them….forewarned is forearmed…..

Thanks, Ziggy….I try to keep this information germane to everything that is going on today….lest we forget. I was getting whiplash during the Obama years so much was happening at a breathtaking speed…all of it bad for America.

I can relate, ladywarrior; one of my grand kids, 9 years old, asked me why I liked Trump. Being one to jabber incessantly, I had to work at editing my reply: for you, your sister, your generation and hopefully subsequent generations. I was never asked again. Knowing their mother watches The View which pretty much concludes my suspicions and fears.
EP’s post below states, the need to deprogram our children from FB et al, I couldn’t agree more. It is a benefit being old, having senior moments can be a blessing. Dang it, Obama, Hillary, and Soros are creepy-crawlers a recurring nightmare that is in truth a reality.

You may want to revise your Soros lore. He was 15 years old when the war ended and was not nearly as important as you make him out to be. He assisted, in a small way, a Nazi who was tasked with snatching belongings from the property of Jews who had already been “disposed of”. I agree with your summation of his character, for sure.

Zuck knows that he has a serious need to stop leaks because he has so much he needs to hide, otherwise if it was anything like what is advertised, no problem. Regarding FB’s popularity, purposeless people feel so insignificant that they are desperate for any kind of attention and approval from any anonymous source, and since they will sell their soul for such attention, giving up their privacy seems a small price to pay..When it first started, i signed up with my name and got many offers to be my “friend”, and I suspiciously wondered…. WHY?

Ahhhhhh…the new NAZI police. Why anyone would want to be on Facistbook is beyond me. I quit that worthless social network site long ago and don’t miss it. I hated the fact that NSA monitors the site; its bad enough that NSA reads all our emails, texts and listens in on our cell phone calls, I saw no need in letting them read what I was posting on that pos site.

What true, freedom loving American is still on Facebook? I saw the danger in FB when it first came out. Same with My Space…the forerunner of Facebook.
If you read George Orwell’s “Nineteen Eighty Four” you know that FB is the beginning of the take over of people’s lives…..and then control them.
Of course, it does no good to prefer to call friends and family instead of posting on a public forum because we now know that Clapper and Brennan were taping every single call we made…..and I suspect it is still being done…..which was also in “1984”.

You are mistaken. The government regulates private business to ensure the general welfare. FB is definitely an effective monopoly or trust, and the government has over one hundred years of anti-trust regulation. They are also discriminating against Americans, and the Government has established anti discriminatory regulations. It also appears they have preyed on the privacy rights of American citizens and their employees. They are also colluding with foreign nations in order to suppress basic rights of men, recognized in the US Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution. Etc. Etc. Being a private entity does not give them carte blanche to trample on our rights and they are using the internet, which is essentially a network under the supervision of the FCC.
