President Trump must appoint a special prosecutor. This was a stealth coup. These people are just dirty, they are filthy. Not only did they go to Fusion GPS for dirt on Trump in 2016, but they went to them for dirt on Romney in 2012. The corrupt and criminal Democrats never thought they’d lose either election, not for one second — hence their reckless, feckless criminality.
If she had been elected in 2016, Hillary would never have prosecuted these crimes; after all, they were designed to put her in power. On the contrary, she would have rewarded them. But now it is all coming out, and the American people deserve to know the whole truth about the treasonous corruption of the Democrat Party.

The Barack Obama presidential campaign hired Fusion GPS in 2012 to dig up dirt on Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, according to a book released on Tuesday.
The Obama campaign hid its payments to Fusion GPS through its law firm, Perkins Coie. The arrangement is similar to the one that the Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee used to pay Fusion for its investigation of then-candidate Donald Trump in 2016.
Dossier ‘coincidences’ pile up
“In 2012, Fusion GPS was hired to do opposition research on Mitt Romney for Barack Obama’s reelection campaign,” reads “Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putin’s War on America and Donald Trump’s Election.”
The book is written by Michael Isikoff and David Corn, two veteran reporters who met during the 2016 campaign with Steele and Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson.
“As had become standard practice in the shadowy world of ‘oppo’ research, the Obama campaign’s payments to Fusion GPS were never publicly disclosed; the money paid to the investigative firm was reported on campaign disclosure reports as legal bills to the campaign’s law firm, Perkins Coie,” the book reads.
The Obama for America committee paid Perkins Coie around $3 million during the 2012 election cycle, according to filings with the Federal Election Commission, A vast majority of the payments were earmarked for “Legal Services.”
It is not clear how the law firm paid Fusion GPS for its research on Romney, a former Massachusetts governor.
Perkins Coie received more than $12 million from the Clinton campaign and DNC during the 2016 election cycle. Fusion GPS was paid just over $1 million for its research on Trump. The oppo firm paid Steele just under $178,000 for his work on the dossier.

There scandals come out whenever there is a slow news day, really, if a space filler is needed, find cartoons or used car ads. This “scandal of the day” is overworked, nothing will ever be done about them anyway.

This goes beyond mere creepy political collusion, or dirty campaign capers. It suggests a broader Democratic scheme to use government resources to hamstring opposition political campaigns and, now, to destroy a presidency.
And this conspiracy spans two presidential campaign cycles and two separate opposition presidential candidates, using remarkably similar tactics and even the same law firm and research operation. With a number of government officials knowingly involved, this, in short, reeks of conspiracy to subvert the election process.

Pamela didn’t mention government funds, that I saw. You gotta do more than “suggest”.
So I don’t know there is anything illegal, but it does sound a bit questionable about having the law firm making the payment. Nor do I see where Pamela made the claim that there were Hatch Act violations. I suspect it is not illegal, or Trump’s DOJ/FBI would have investigated. I admit it sounds sleazy, but I expect that out of politics.
Pamela simply failed to make a plausible case for criminal activity, even though she claimed it occurred. Far more concerning is this, and if this is legal, we need to look at changing the law (from your investors article):

That kind of vilification of decent, law-abiding, successful Americans is bad enough. But to drive home the intimidation, each of the names on the list was subsequently tweeted out from the @TruthTeam2012 twitter feed, along with their supposed misdeeds, most of which really amounted merely to tough or unpopular business decisions they had to make. …
This does speak to me of a dreadful abuse of power, one that threatens the foundations of our democracy. If there is any way to prosecute for what was done, go for it. If not, have a serious look at changing the law. Democrats tried similar thuggery in Wisconsin, and got slapped down by the courts, although I don’t recall anyone being prosecuted.
Republicans generally have a shred of integrity. Democrats have none.

For your information, it is a gross violation of campaign finance and disclosure laws. Hiring the Perkins-Coie law firm to launder the payments to Fusion GPS for inaccurate opposition research by a foreign entity is also unlawful. Sober up.
