Trial of Orlando Pulse nightclub jihad killer’s wife: Jurors asked what they think of Muslims and Islam

54

Apparently you have to believe that Islam is a religion of peace to serve on this jury. If you are aware that jihadis point to the Quran and Muhammad to justify their acts of violence against the kuffar, you’re likely to be excused from jury service for this trial. But why is that the case? What, really, does one’s opinion of Islam or Muslims have to do with the question of whether Noor Salman aided and abetted her husband Omar Mateen when he murdered 49 people in the name of Allah at the Pulse nightclub? The question of whether or not Islam is a religion of peace has nothing to do with whether Noor Salman was going jihad in this case. This is just more discrimination against and harassment of Americans who understand the root causes of jihad terror, and oppose it.

“Noor Salman trial: Jurors asked what they know about news coverage of case,” by Gal Tziperman Lotan and Krista Torralva, Orlando Sentinel, March 5, 2018:

More than a dozen potential jurors were questioned in Noor Salman’s trial Monday, with four of them staying in the jury pool and seven excused.

Story continues below advertisement

U.S. District Judge Paul Byron held off making decisions on two more jurors, who said they have to check with their work or their family to see if they will be able to sit through the three-week trial.

Salman, 31, is charged with aiding and abetting her husband, Pulse nightclub shooter Omar Mateen, and of obstruction of justice….

Some jurors were asked what they think about Muslims and Islam, and whether their views on the religion will impact their ability to judge Salman fairly.

The woman who was kept in the pool attended an interfaith class at her church last year because she said she “didn’t understand what was going on in the country.”

She said she found Islam to be non-violent and learned Muslims and Christians “have a lot in common.”…

“The president is part of the government and acts unfairly toward Muslims,” a male college student responded.

He said he thinks the government takes a more aggressive stance toward Muslims when making laws and referenced President Donald Trump’s travel bans.

The juror was excused due to scheduling conflicts after saying he would be at risk of failing this semester from missing classes while in court.

Another man, who was also excused, said he had certain beliefs about Muslims based on his friends’ military experiences overseas. A friend served in Iraq and another in Afghanistan. They told him stories that led him to believe Muslim women are submissive to their husbands. He said he would try to set aside his friends’ stories but also said there would have to be something convincing to change his belief.

Salman, who has been animated in court, looked to her lawyer with eyebrows raised and nodded when another woman described beliefs that some Muslims are influenced to do bad while others are peaceful.

“Some Muslims are brainwashed to do horrible things” while others are “like me” and never hurt a person, the woman explained….

Other jurors who knew people killed or injured but said they could remain impartial were kept in the jury pool. Byron and attorneys in the case asked jurors about their views on terrorist attacks, including those on Sept. 11, 2001….

If I was being interviewed for a juror, I’d tell them how Muslims are so misunderstood and such nice people. Then if selected, I’d POISON the others and educate them on Islam. I’d shoot for capital punishment for her.

I thought the same thing. ‘Dunno nothin’ ’bout Islam yer honor.”
But you’d get reported and removed from the jury when you started telling other jurors. Remember, they take additional jurors in case they need to dismiss some.
But I wonder if the Prosecutor is allowed to present the relevant parts of the Koran?

Good plan to get in but maybe they’ll think you are too pro-muslim ! Its better to stick to what the lady said, “some take to crime …others are peaceful like me !”

instead of trying to educate them on islam after getting in. Focus on the case and use the evidence to convince jury about her collusion/guilt and then push for highest punishment. you’ll be more acceptable and be able to influence the rest of jury.

you can also get to know them personally and ask them for their email/phone to keep in touch. And then send them stuff like this http://bit.ly/2rF8pfo

…. and ask “don’t you think Muslims are real threat to Americans ?” Let them think and come to conclusion themselves. Don’t get pushy about it in trying to convince them about it. you can get reported.

If caught emailing or phoning with other jurors while the trial is ongoing and outside of the debates in deliberation you not only will be put off that jury, but would face charges……just saying.

That’s why I said do it one on one . Ask that person’s permission before email.
And you are not talking about the case. Just general info and questions.

So, are you asking me if genocidal dead-Mohammad’s command that Muslims wage war on the Infidel excuses (celebrates) acts of war on the Infidel? Yes, yes, of course it does. (See Koran 9:29)

What happened to the Mormons, in Missouri, before they were properly dispatched and run off, to Nauvoo, Illinois, made what happened to them, in Illinois, look like a Sunday regatta at the yacht club. Gotta love, Missouri Executive Order 44, where Governor Boggs directed that “the Mormons must be treated as enemies, and must be exterminated or driven from the State if necessary for the public peace—their outrages are beyond all description”.

The United States of America needs such an order, where moslems are “exterminated or driven out of the country”.

Truthphobia is an off-shoot of atheism….it has spawned the idea that asses like yourself can tell the rest of us what will be tolerated. Islam may NOT be here to stay but WE, not you, will decide that. IF the Muslims do not manage to assimilate, they will not be allowed to stay. I don’t see them changing and I don’t see Americans tolerating it. We are, after all, armed to the teeth.

the jury selection process is the weak link in our justice system. it is supposed to be a jury of our peers who, just like us, have warts and all. it is inherently wrong to cull out people based on their beliefs and life history. the 12 should be picked at random and seated, period.

silly argument. here’s a news flash for you…this is a predominantly christian culture that finds islam a barbaric relic, and most americans are biased against islam because those muslims have been murdering american citizens since the days of thomas jefferson and the barbary pirates. this is what is meant by a jury of peers, the average american, biases and all. a jury of americans who have no bias against islam would be a freak show, and would be travesty against the right to a fair trial by the plaintiffs

It’s a strange aspect of western justice that if you as a prospective juror know anything about what the case is about he or she is likely to be disbarred from service. Even the questions asked at the interview encourage a display of bland inoffensive ignorance is required from the interviewee when framing ones answer.

Remember politicians choose the officers of the court and decide upon whether or not they themselves are exposed in their duplicity by proceedings, this I call “defending the narrative”. It’s important because to the politicians, the narrative protects them.

It’s our job in the counter jihad to see it doesn’t.

Jury selection is part-and-parcel of our judicial protocol. I’m surprised that the defense lawyers don’t choose aren’t demanding a jury of her Muslim peers. Nothing would shock me; the nation’s pandering or mollycoddling Muslims in public and within the courts is sheer gutlessness. The Overlords within the Government, its agencies, the DOJ are hellbent on usurping the President and those with the temerity to criticize Islam, supposed Islamophobes.

“She said she found Islam to be non-violent and learned Muslims and Christians “have a lot in common”. Apparently she either was not paying attention or had an instructor that was obedient to the muslim tenet of lying for islam. This quote is very common in any real discussion of islam. “Sahih Muslim (19:4294) – “Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war… When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them… If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them”. The education system is more than a little defective.

What makes atheists even more stupidly pathetic is they were fearless in destroying Christianity, or any other religion. But, when islam arrived, they filled their diapers, scuttling off like the bed wetters and thumb suckers they are, leaving a well marked trail behind them. There is nothing more cowardly than an atheist when they can’t legally bully people.

The way I see it is that America, Australia & Europe have invited in the very enemy they fought against (and continue to) via cruel military intervention against innocent people, main reason being retaliation for the 9-11 attack on home soil. Isis sprang up in direct retaliation against the West, taking over from the Taliban, utilising the left-over armaments from the US, funded by Saudi countries, in a way you can’t blame them. Their countries have been devastated by war for so long, especially Afghanistan and Iran, what has it achieved? Nothing but misery and death, which the West is now paying for after inviting them in as refugees in a pathetic attempt to patch up lives, pretty dumb move when you look at the bigger picture, add to that the PTSD fall out to all those involved in war, including Vietnam Vets, WW2 vets like my own father shot down by the Japs and survived, my belief is that war only divides nations and brings misery and destruction to mankind.
