US agents untrained to vet Islamic jihadis, have poor grasp of jihadist threat

73

This should come as no surprise. I’ve been warning about this for years: the Obama administration several years ago scrubbed all mention of the jihad doctrine and Islam from all counter terror training materials. Jihadists associated with Muslim Brotherhood groups such as CAIR were called in to “train” law enforcement to submit to sharia restrictions on speech.

This is the poison fruit of that policy: agents who have no idea of what they’re dealing with when they encounter jihad terrorists.

“US agents untrained to vet Islamic radicals, have poor grasp of jihadist threat, experts warn,” RT, March 7, 2018 (thanks to Graham):

Story continues below advertisement

US law enforcers aren’t trained to detect Islamic radicals, which enabled a suspected Al-Qaeda-linked jihadist to remain off the radar in America for seven years, attorney Jennifer Breedon told RT.

Saudi national, Naif Abdulaziz Alfallaj, who trained at the Al-Qaeda camp in Afghanistan together with some of the 9/11 plane hijackers, was detained in Oklahoma in February. He arrived in the US on a non-immigrant visa back in 2011 and lived freely in the country, even taking pilot lessons. It took the US security agencies a whole seven years to match the fingerprints from Al-Qaeda papers obtained in Afghanistan in 2011 with the prints in its database and reveal Alfallaj’s true identity. The man now faces up to 20 years in prison for two counts of visa fraud and lying to the FBI about his terrorist links.

Breedon, an attorney specializing in foreign policy, international law and religious terrorism, believes that the Alfallaj affair shows “an ongoing failure of the US – and also Europe – to properly vet these people and for our law enforcement to even understand the nature of radical Islamists.”

“Why this person was able to go under the radar; why he went all the way through the State Department vetting process – because there’s no vetting process that vets for extremist religious ideology,” she said. According to the attorney, the employees of the relevant US agencies “haven’t been properly trained” and are unaware of the most basic things, like who the Wahhabis are and what Sharia Law is.

“It’s very likely that [Alfallaj] didn’t even have to try hard to deceive” the US authorities, Breedon said. “The State Department is asking questions and they’re expecting an honest answer. And these people, especially, if they have terrorist ties or connections, are never going to be honest on a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questionnaire… If we don’t know how to read between the lines or truly understand their ideology we’ll continue to not catch these people.”

The jihadists are able to freely come and stay in the US unhampered because “the FBI has many problems right now,” Breedon said. “The FBI has been too busy with trying to harm President Donald Trump… or trying to go after these supposed Russian hackers. You have the FBI spending… millions of dollars for the special investigation into these things the American people don’t care about, so it’s very likely that something as important as allowing a terrorist to get a US visa would fall under the rug.”

Another unhelpful thing is the Western model of “we can’t offend anybody,” Breedon believes. In 2016, when Omar Mateen killed 49 people and injured 58 others at an Orlando gay club, “the FBI had ample warning that the Orlando attacker was a threat, but because he was Muslim they didn’t want to look into it; they didn’t want to be seen as targeting a certain religious group – and because of that lots of people died.”

Breedon also refuted the FBI’s claims that it needs more funding to be effective, reminding that “reports have come out with school shootings in the US where the FBI many times received a phone call warning them about these shooters and… the FBI didn’t follow up. It’s not so much a lack of resources as it is a lack of knowledge and understanding about threats that matter the most,” she said….

How much training is required to read the qur’an, then take note of the fact that it clearly stated muslims are commanded to lie, then breaks lying down into six categories? It is a dismal commentary on American education if it cannot grasp concepts that are proven and demonstrated by muslims for the 1400 years they have existed.

I speak from experience, having regularly dealt with ground level fed LEOs from multiple agencies. I remember vividly the first time we were to work with the Marshals office. I was really looking forward to meeting these guys, boy was that a big let down. Over coffee or chatting while working it doesn’t take long to figure out that they are just as bugged by the nonsense from above as any other LEOs. A M, it’s often as big a mistake to overestimate the organization of your enemy as it is to underestimate it…

I recall my last “encounter” with the FBI. Standard .. same routine .. been there done that …. Get picked up, at the airport, by an IRS agent (gold badge, gun carrying type) and taken to my hotel. Next morning, FBI picks me up, taken to the federal building. Taken to a conference room, filled with litigation boxes and files …. sat down, in one corner … IRS agent at the end, next to me, FBI agent sitting as close as physical space allowed, on my left side … US Assistant Attorney standing at the head of the table … Questions from all sides …. Them telling me lie upon lie upon lie …. I asked to record this … they told me NO! I insisted …. All questions stopped. I was taken back to the hotel … Two phone calls later … I’m on my way to the airport to fly back home. You cannot believe the lies that the FBI attempted to tell me … I actually laughed at that filthy bastard. Praise the Lord .. that was over fifteen years ago … Haven’t had any dealing since. I had several dealings, before .. but that was my last. Lying, filthy, crooked, corrupt .. that’s the motto of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

I’ve long suspected that your experience proved the harsh reality. Every time I’ve heard one of these people on tv, what they expressed was ignorant, p.c. rubbish, the lot of them brainwashed with pro-Islamic garbage. The drivel they’ve spouted makes anyone who has informed themselves over years totally sick. It’s as if while being lectured on Islamic trash that their powers of reason and inquiry deserted them and that they actually wanted to believe pro-Islamic crap, thus reflecting an attitude that ‘it’s clever to be stupid’. They actually sound like morons. I’ve spoken to police round where I live and it’s no different. They actually think its clever to believe the utter drivel they do.

Sounds like a real Paul Harvey (The Rest of the Story) scenario. Look, I never said any fed line staff is without sin or perfect (nobody is) just that we often poke at line staff for the crap they are forced to deal with from above. Imagine, if you can, the frustration of knowing the creep sitting across the table from you is probably lying but you don’t have the ability to do anything about it because of the system in place. You can fire the poor sap that has to ask yes or no questions or fix the corrupt system, one accomplishes nothing and the other at least improves things.

BTW people under investigation often lie and vetting requires tricking them into admissions they really don’t want to make. Most call that lying or sneaky itself but Boy Scout techniques don’t make the truth come out of someone determined to conceal.

That was but one of five similar dealings. I wasn’t, supposedly, “the bad guy”. I was a subpoenaed witness. I really did not know a damned thing. I was forthright and honest in all of my answers and dealings with them. Hell, if they had something on me .. and were trying to “work a deal”, they would have had to hit me, with a lead pipe, to get me to shut up. Since I only had personal dealings with five “special agents”, I really shouldn’t color all of them … But, with my limited mental capacity … Five out of Five?

It is is ‘dismal’. The whole existing situation is just very stupid and disgusting. It’s now evident that much or most of the U.S. military, CIA, FBI, Homeland Security and State Department are as ‘dumb’ as pig’s droppings on Islam. Men like H.R. McMaster are either deliberately, willfully ignorant of Islam and just very stubborn and gnorant. Until these bodies once again get Robert Spencer and others with real knowledge of Islam’s goals and evils to instruct them, this mess will continue and Islam will make inroads. The fact is, there are too many gutless, ignorant and politically correct individuals heading up these departments, so they actually capitulate to CAIR’s demands. The utter ignorance and P.C. mentality behind this is pitiful! These are not men, the are wretched, neutered pansies! I’d like CAIR to try their crap with me. They’d be told to got to hell and then have them placed under arrest for sedition, treason and everything else with which they could be charged. Muslims by the thousands who refuse to assimilate and try to spread Islam, would be thrown out of the country.

Allah, a pagan moon god after all, does not listen to prayers, so prayers are not answered while former Muslims have found that the Christian and Jewish God answers prayers and they feel his presence.

“..does christian-jews god different to muslim’s god ???” Absolutely! The Christian-Jewish God teaches about fairness, justice and love. He punishes rotten people and rewards those who do good and act bravely against vile men and women.

The Muslim God offers no hope, just punishment and teaches hatred. I know because I’ve read the Qur’an and I’ve read the Bible. The Muslim god is a satanic, hate-filled, miserable bastard who even punishes Muslims and orders the murder of anyone – apostates – who leave Islam. In Christianity our God give everyone free will so if they do things that take them to hell, then that is their choice. You should read the book ‘Son of Hamas’ by Mosab Hassan Jousef whose father was a founding member of Hamas. He tells of a new God he discovered.

It’s not so much the cost of the batteries that is the problem, it’s the cost of charging these batteries nightly and the inability of electric systems in neighbourhoods to charge many of these batteries. Most electric systems can barely charge up three Teslas in one street. Then its the short distance they can take you before again needing charging, the time this takes – and you must watch your speed. It works out far more expensive than owning and driving a gasoline powered car. I learned this only recently and it was an eye-opener.

you’ve been fed lot of half truths and lies.

Each home has enough power supply to charge Tesla/E-car not 3 cars / street !
Range – Its between 120 km -240 km , Enough for daily commute for most city/suburban travel
If you want longer range , go for Hybrids.

As for fuel cost it will cost about the same if you include cost of replacing battery every 100,000 km – 120,000km. That is why I said if battery price reduces further , it will cost less to run E-car than gasoline one !

And it has lower maintenance than regular car. No oil change , no engine repair, no oil leakages to plug etc.

Rob Porter

I read the report of what occurred with the Chev Volt hybrid and the reality is that the electric motor didn’t take it very far before the gasoline motor kicked in – and then it didn’t have much speed. I have two small supercharged Mercedes coupes and, quite frankly, I find them a lot of fun. In a moment of insanity one day I hit 215 km/h, which is about 134 mph – and it was still gathering speed! If I keep the speed below 120 km/h, about 74 mph, it gives me about 33 miles per gallon in summer. In cold weather this drops.

Do the math, figure out the increased electrical consumption if there were even half the number of electric cars as hydrocarbon fuelled. The increased cost of a distribution network to distribute it has to be paid for, it will not be cheap. Then there is reliability of supply, the electrical generating grid is overloaded as it is, adding more load on an over taxed system is not going to work. The electric bills normally have a fee for system maintenance, that will go up significantly as the distribution network picks up extra load.

Just add more power plants thermal , solar , wind problem solved !
solar and wind projects cost are now close to thermal cost / kw and its non-polluting too so the GW crowd would support that.
Its below $0.05/kw in india as per latest info.
while average retail cost of power supply in US is $0.11/kw
Do the math !

The cost of electrical generation is irrelevant as it is actually the lowest price on the electrical bill. A delivered to the door price in the United States works out to an average of about $110 per month. To charge an electric car is reasonable now, but there is no road tax or other transportation fees attached to electricity yet. When propane vehicles came out, propane was not subject to road taxes, that changed. It is very likely that if electric vehicles become more popular, they will require the same roads that are currently in use, someone will be paying for road maintenance . In case you were unaware, electrical generators of the size required normally have at least a two year waiting period, there is very little in an electrical generation station that is “off the shelf” it all expensive. It is not nonpolluting all that electric cars do, especially if the electricity is being generated in a coal fired plant, is move the pollution to a single source instead of distributing it. The effluent from the manufacture of solar cells is toxic, the amount of energy to build a wind powered generator is substantial, not to mention the adverse effects the turbine propellers have on the bird population. Environmentally electrical generation is a toxin that has to be managed.

Suresh

Effluent to manufacture is toxic ?! How toxic ? Even if true , it can be treated. And once built , it can generate zero pollution power for 25 years or more .
Other option is use thermal coal plant that pollutes for next 25 years !
I’ll take solar anyday ! Only issue used to be cost and it has crashed by 80% since last 6 years.

My #3 son put up a solar system in the back yard, it used 16 automotive style batteries to hold electricity. It requires a fair amount of money to get it going, then a degree of maintenance on a regular basis. It provided enough power to run a refrigerator and a few light bulbs, most of the time. If there was more than a day of cloud cover, it was not useable. In Canada, today, to go solar, it costs about $40,000 to get completely off the electrical grid. Maintenance extra. Do not forget that there is a reason solar cells are mostly manufactured in countries with no environmental standards, the waste chemicals can be dumped in the river, future generations can deal with them. Treating of industrial effluent is very expensive, that cost is passed on to the consumer, not treating it is a mockery of the environmental standards of allegedly green power.

How, after 9/11, can the FBI not have any grasp of the jihadi threat in the U.S. Do they all live in caves. It would seem that this may not just be an issue of ‘untrained’ agents, but also something deeper going on as in the case with Pamela’s conference in Garland, Texas, where the FBI KNEW of the threat going on beforehand, actually encouraged the attackers and did nothing to stop them. American law enforcement officials see Islam as just another religion and will not allow their subordinates to look past that since we have ‘Freedom of Religion’. Mohammedan terrorists are apprehended only when they commit petty crimes. That’s when their terror activities become uncovered though the law enforcement officials see terrorism as something completely separate.

Jane Dowe

It’s real simple:
1) legally declare islam what it truly is: a socio-political system paired with a hate-based cult. It is a twisted ideology. BAN IT AS TERRORISM. No mosques, no CAIR, nothing. Outlaw it all as subversive ideology. It IS NOT A RELIGION.

2) deport all muslim immigrants.

3) do not allow any muslims in to the country. No tourism, no refugees, no students, no immigration.

Can’t be done? YES, IT CAN. Japan has done this. China has done most of it. Poland has done this.
If the American people demand it, we can make it happen.

Ahhh yes; the incompetent idiots known as the FBI (Fake Bureau of Investigation)….. they did a ‘ bang up job on Cruz’ and we expect them to keep us save from Jihadists?! I think not!

I believe that not only the POLICE BUT the so called experts have little comprehension of the THREAT of POLITICAL ISLAM & are so poorly educated in relation to Religious Issues that they cannot even IMAGINE Religious fanaticism.
In the world of MONEY, HOLIDAYS & GADGETS & THINGS the retention span for this is that is a CHICKEN!
The interest level is low & retention of the facts poor at best!
Our tossing out of our own faith & the mistaken belief that Religion is not important & has to viewed as a VERY PRIVATE matter helps the cause of ISLAM because they hide behind this!
VERY DANGEROUS THINKING !
ISLAM is the NEW FASCISM & has every intention of destroying our SOCIETIES!

There is a simple solution to the complex problem that Jennifer Breedon is publicizing – send the Understanding the Threat (UTT) team of Guandolo and Gaubatz to FBI offices across the nation to educate agents about the actual jihadi threat. Pro-Muslim, anti-American, ex-president Obama deliberately invited the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR officials into our national defense institutions to mislead America about the clear and present danger of islamist expansion. It is called “taqiyyah” – lying in the service of Islam. Taqiyyah explains Jennifer Breedon’s observation that agents are unable to properly vet Islamic jihadists – the agents do not expect “refugees” to be lying in the service of Islamic expansion.

The military, FBI, CIA and others used to be trained by Jihad Watch’s Robert Spencer, but Barack Obama and his mob of traitors put an end to that. This needs to be reversed with Spencer, Jay Smith, Pamela Geller, David Wood, Nonie Darwish and other good people re-training the Military, FBI, CIA, Homeland Security and others.

You cannot “vet” muzlims (sic – on purpose). The only thing you CAN do is to keep them OUT!
