About an hour ago from the time of this post, palestinian terrorists in Gaza fired a rocket towards southern Israel. As sirens sounded in the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council and Sderot, this photo of Israelis in a train, lying on the floor trying to protect themselves, was taken.

Thankfully, the rocket landed in an open area, with no reports of casualties or damage.
But you are deluding yourselves if you think there are no psychological scars from this. Can you even fathom what it must be like to live in fear of the next siren – and subsequent dash to a safe space to avoid being hit by a rocket?
Meanwhile, the palestinian Shehab News have posted the photo on their Facebook Page, as a way of gloating.
Note the number of likes, smiley faces and hearts under the post – those are all people who are happy to see Israelis with their lives in danger.

The basic shape is that of our old (Northrop Republic) F-5. Looks like long ago we delivered them to Israel and this is what they did with them.

Most people don’t realize that Israel will take US weapons (sytems) and IMPROVE them making them better than what we have. When we don’t meet their standards, they build their own (look at their tanks).

I loved “Emma”, but she had her shortcomings. The Merkava could carry her own mortar team, or up to 6 infantry dismounts into battle. We had to separately wait for our infantry to catch up with us and could be pinned down if we didn’t have overhead fire (mortar, arty, CAS). I was an M1 tanker and would not have ever wanted to go up against the Merkava. She also had reactive armor and could destroys RPGs in flight as they were fired at her. An RPG would make Emma a mobility kill if she took in on the track. Make her a very slow, manually operated stationary gun if shot in the A- (engine compartment), or render the main gun useless if the blow out panels were shot out. All our main gun ammo would be destroyed, and we’d only be left with our coax and maybe the MaDeuce. I would have hated to take on Israel more than Russia. Russians try to outnumber and outmaneauver us, but their equipment and weapons systems were S-.

Oh, the mine plow we had attached to our tank, was an Israeli made mine plow. It was a badA- piece of equipment. It would literally allow us to plow through a mine field without having to stop or slow down for nothing. Israel makes some really good S-. Look at their side arm, the desert eagle. How do you compare our issued Baretta (or Sig Saur, Navy SEAL) 9mm to the power of the eagle?

It is not new that the media censors positive news about Israel. In the war during 2015 they report only about bomb on Gaza by Israel. Not even once about rockets from Gaza on Israel. Enemedia in its best.

I remember walking through parking lots in South Africa sometimes wondering if an ANC bomb would go off and philosophically thinking that if it happens it happens. But never mind, I know that bright sparks all over the Western world regarded Nelson Mandela too wonderful for words as his organization blew up human beings, that both the Canadian government and media loved the ANC communists, and now see that the world is silent while white farmers are brutally murdered by black savages out to steal their farms with the approval of yet another useless African government.
