Trump: Recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital Was Pinnacle of My First Year

14

Trump is right. Recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital was the pinnacle of his first year, because it showed he would not be cowed and intimidated away from doing this, the way his predecessors were.

He became the first President ever to deliver on this longtime promise. Other Presidents before him talked about doing this, but didn’t have the guts and the grit to do it.

The American embassy in a country should be in the capital of that country. Only with the Jews is this a big deal.

Jerusalem is at the heart and soul of Judaism. Jews worldwide face Jerusalem when we pray (as opposed to Muslims, who face Mecca). Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in the Old Testament.

When he recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, President Trump made history, human history. He is now one of the greats of the ages.

“Trump: Recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital Was Pinnacle of My First Year,” Algemeiner, February 9, 2018:

Reflecting on his first year in office in a recent interview with the Israeli daily newspaper Israel Hayom, President Donald Trump said that his official recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was the pinnacle of his presidency so far.

“I think that Jerusalem was my high point,” Trump told Boaz Bismuth, Israel Hayom’s editor-in-chief. “It was very significant that I recognized Jerusalem as your wonderful capital city. This was an extremely important decision for many people, who thanked me. To be completely honest, there were others who did not thank me. But it was an extremely important promise that I promised—and fulfilled.”

Trump stated that while he knew he would go forward with recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital during his first year as president, he also understood why previous presidents had not.

“Incredible pressure was imposed on them not to do it,” Trump said. “All the other presidents failed to keep their promise, despite the fact that they promised it during the course of their election campaigns. But I understand, because the effort to prevent them to do it was enormous.”

This was a brave and smart move by Trump.
It takes Jerusalem OFF THE TABLE in negotiations.
No other President had the courage to do this.
Is it any wonder that Trump scares the swamp?
Trump has tenacity and fortitude they are not used to experiencing.
Our God is happy about that!

And the liberal turds are still giving him a hard time because he didn’t specifically mention the word “Jews” during his Holocaust Remembrance day speech last year!

FAKE NEWS?

Maybe I have this wrong; but since Kindergarten, it’s understood that when the word Holocaust is mentioned, that the victims were Jewish Citizens and the criminals were the Nazis.

So if I don’t specifically mention the word “black” during Martin Luther King day, does that mean I’m a racist?

It’s just understood.

If he said Jews, MSM would lambaste him for saying Juice. They’re predictable. And they miss Obama terribly. I feel for them. Loser Hillary couldn’t win with tipping the scales (Fusion GPS/ FBI/ Phony Dossier…).

Absolute arrogance and insanity to think he can change the capital of a foreign country. What capital wil he be so deluded to think he can change next? Washinton, Dublin, Oslo?

Well, to be fair, Israel’s government has declared Jerusalem as its capital for decades.

He’s not changing a capitol, he’s acknowledging one in the face of a great deal of stupidity.

The man is truly a genius. As long as MSM continues to caricaturize and mock him they’ll underestimate him, he’ll outfox them easily every time. Trump had zero political gain to do it. His benchmark was not being worse than Obama/ Hillary. In typical trump fashion he busted another false analogy, a sacred cow and single handedly demolished the “elite echo- chamber bubble.

If he considers recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel as the high point of his first year in office, he should speed up the actual physical movement process. That should have been done in two months, it shouldn’t take two years. Thus, he should make it happen now!
