Greece: Afghan refugee, who asked for protection, arrested for possessing detonators and gas canisters

An Afghan refugee was arrested in Athens last week. The man possessed seven detonators for explosives and was apprehended by a Greek anti-terror police unit.
Story continues below advertisementThe special police unit was mobilised after a regular research revealed that the man possessed explosive materials. An initial research took place after the home owner complained about the man not paying his rent.
During a house visit seven detonators and numerous small butane gas containers were found. The man was arrested near the area of Lycabettus Hill in central Athens.
The suspect was given asylum in Greece after he said he needed “international protection”.

One day, working a rack bailing hay … You go through one pair of leather gloves. Bailing, back in the day paid a buck an hour (farmers exempt from minimum wage, which was 1.60). Leather gloves were a buck a pair. After the first hour …. you were home free.

’53 Hudson Superjet ( with twin power ) 3spd & overdrive , flathead six with 2 one barrel carbs , 4 doors and it looked a lot like the same year Chevy , only smaller . Maybe $15,000 , after rubbing out paint and buffing freckles off the chrome it looked like a dark green little car .
