Hamas co-founder dies after accidentally shooting himself in face, militant group says

A co-founder of the terror group Hamas died on Tuesday, three weeks after accidentally shooting himself in the face while cleaning his weapon, an official said.
Imad al-Alami, 62, was “examining his personal weapon in his home” on Jan. 9 when the gun went off and a bullet struck him in the face, Hamas said. He had been hospitalized in Gaza until his death, according to the Jerusalem Post.
Hamas initially announced al-Alami died of natural causes, dispelling rumors he’d committed suicide or was murdered. However, the group later admitted an accident had actually caused al-Alami’s death.
Al-Alami held several key posts as a member of Hamas’ policy-making body and lived in Syria until 2012. He remained a top-ranking official, though not a member of the militant outfit’s current staff.
After the 2014 Israel-Hamas war, al-Alami traveled to Turkey for treatment for an injury in which he lost a leg. Hamas said he was wounded in the war.

Only one shot? It had to be an accident. Those that committed suicide, connected to the Clowntons, shot themselves in the head .. anywhere between two and four times. It had to be accidental.

Were you in Iraq when the muslum soldier fragged members of his own platoon in the 101st Airborne? Whatever happened to that muslum POS and why wasn’t he summarily executed? I believe deserters from the US Army were executed in Europe during WW2 for doing a lot less than the muslum rat in the 101st Airborne.

No they are nearly always made of metal and even the plastic ones from China and the former Czechoslovakia did not. However American, Magpull plastic mags sometimes do, but they only show every 5 rounds or so and to be honest ammo flies out of the gun so fast it does not matter.
