U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley spoke in bold terms about Syria atrocities and Iran provocations during a sit-down in Washington, D.C., with members of the Security Council.
This is not your Barack Obama’s administration any longer.

And now she’s doing it again, in Washington, D.C.
Political correctness and diplomacy be danged, Haley outright called for remembrance and recognition of those harmed by Syria and by President Bashar al-Assad.

The US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, spoke out forcefully against the atrocities committed by President Bashar al-Assad in Syria on Monday, during a visit to the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC with a delegation of UN Security Council diplomats.
“We must always remember the victims of genocide and honor their memory, and we must stand against the atrocities of today,” Haley said, after the delegation toured a special exhibit devoted to the ongoing war in Syria. “Sadly, arbitrary detention, torture, and forced disappearance are some of many atrocities the brutal Assad regime is committing against its own people. The international community — including and especially the Security Council — must take a stand against the regime and use all available tools to help the Syrian people.”
Earlier in the day, Haley led the diplomats on a visit to on a visit to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC, where they viewed missiles and other weapons supplied by Iran to Shia Houthi insurgents in Yemen. “We believe what the council saw today makes it clear that the evidence continues to grow that Iran is blatantly ignoring its international obligations,” Haley said.
The delegation was told by President Donald Trump over lunch at the White House that the “United Nations Security Council, in particular, is very important to us.”
“The power and the respect that it has all over the world is very, very excellent,” Trump said.
Trump noted that the delegation “has seen the missiles from Iran, and they’re looking at some of the atrocities taking place in Syria.”
“There’s much work that we have to, together, do,” Trump told the group.

As far as Assad goes- had the United States under Obumble and crooked Hillary not tried to destabilize that nation, there would have been no atrocities. Also- I’m sure the ISIS loving rebels did their share of atrocities as well.

Some perspective on that is needed. It is not Assad alone who is, perhaps, guilty of atrocities and genocide. Remember that this is sectarian war and he is surrounded by many enemies and as drastic such measures are, they are no better and they absolutely do NOT deserve our tears and indignation or defense. Obama tried the same thing, to single out Assad as sole responsible of that Syrian mess. We should NOT go the same path today. Ditto about so called “atrocities” in Burma (Myanmar) allegedly committed against Muslim minority there. Think twice before taking sides in any local mess. Yes, Iran interference is dangerous and must be taken into account, but… as far as for the rest and who is to be blamed: STAY AWAY!

Remember that in islam, there are three occasions when muslims are permitted, if not actually obligated to lie.
• When a person mediates between two disputing parties in order to reconcile between them, if reconciliation cannot be achieved in any other way.
• When a man’s speaking to his wife, or a woman speaking to her husband, with regard to matters that will strengthen the ties of love between them, even if that is accompanied by exaggeration.
