Monday, August 28th on the Doctor Ira Breite Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine show on SiriusXM 110: Doctor Radio!

Back again!  Yes, we are trying to get back to a regular schedule here but the summer calls! As I sit here eating perhaps a bit too much I am thankful that our first guest Monday is Ryan Madanick, MD, an assistant professor at UNC.  We will be talking tough reflux and what to do about it, as well as a bit on C. diff.  After that, it will be time for Gastroenterology Update, where we will expand the conversation to any digestive disease topic.

Know a kid with bad allergies who had a severe reaction?  How do you get them to try new (safe) foods after this experience?  Find out with me and Dr. Hemant Sharma, the Clinical Chief of the Division of Allergy and Immunology at Children's National Health System in Washington, D.C.

We will end the show with Ask Doctor Ira, where you can ask me any questions on any medical topic at all: anything you forgot to ask your doctor, ask me!  Give us a call at 1-877-NYU-DOCS or send me a tweet!

On a final note, our hopes and prayers go out to those affected by the hurricane in South Texas.
