Clothing company: “Let’s make the Swastika a symbol of love and peace”

39

This is reminiscent of when Linda Sarsour gave the ISIS salute. She had an excuse just as KA Designs does — they were ready with a response for anyone who accused them of allying with and glorifying the savagery attached to these symbols. But that’s exactly what they were doing.

“Clothing Company Attempts to Reclaim Swastika for LGBTQ People,” by Andrew Phillips, Out, August 7, 2017:

A clothing company has drummed up controversy for emblazoning the swastika on its merchandise. The shirts, created by KA Designs, were sold on the popular website Teespring, and featured rainbow-colored swastikas with the words “Peace,” “Zen”and “Love.”

Story continues below advertisement

KA Designs claims that their intention behind using the symbol commonly associated with the Nazi party was to reclaim the symbol to represent the LGBTQ community.

In their original description of the product, KA Design wrote, “Here at KA we explore boundaries. We push them forward. Let’s make the Swastika a symbol of love and peace. Together, we can succeed.”

In a promotional video for the product, the company stated, “They [the Nazis] stigmatized the swastika. They won. They limited our freedom. Or maybe not? The swastika is coming back together with love, peace, respect and freedom.”…

In a statement to Mic, KA Designs wrote, “We really enjoy the swastika. Not because of any of the meanings associated with it, but because of the shape and of how it looks. However, the strong bond between the swastika and Nazi values was unbreakable. We didn’t feel free. For the right reason. So we ended up using this symbol with the aim of sharing its opposite values: love, peace and freedom. Our project wants to express the victory of love and humanity against hatred and Nazism in general.”

As of Monday, the T-shirts have been removed from the Teespring website.

It suits them very well . Left/liberal Pro-islam anti-semite Loons would find it suitable symbol of their idealogy.

Its sharia/Islam drip by drip . In America we have Islamonazi demanding we stop honoring American soldiers during Memorial day and instead honor Jihadis killed by American Soldiers just the way Palestine govt does to its jihadis !

Hard to believe ? check http://bit.ly/2qvcHov

And why are such scumbags who cannot even respect our soldiers deported after rescinding their citizenship rights & for supporting jihadi terrorists ?

If the neo-nazis of today had a brain, they would channel their hatred entirely on muslims, and not jews.

Jews are not the problem. Only muslims are. These buffoons need to realize this.

Yes, Jews today generally strive to integrate and assimilate their children while Muslims insist on “sticking out” and embracing their religion over their nationality.

It’s difficult to change the DNA on hate. Just ask the Muslims if they have a deprogramming organization.

If every conservative demands removal of this T-shirt or they lose your business . Teespring will stop it.

But if nobody bothers to demand its removal they will keep it. The Left/liberals got confederate flag the same way because they are organised into shutting down conservatives ……..its time to fightback or shut up.

there “purchasing base” is — The Williams Institute
at the UCLA School of Law, a sexual orientation law and public policy
think tank, estimates that 9 million (about 3.8%) of Americans identify
as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender (2011). The institute also
found that bisexuals make up 1.8% of the population, while 1.7% are gay
or lesbian. Transgender adults make up 0.3% of the population. –

The Swastika has been used by a number of cultures for centuries as none-hateful symbol. Only for a sliver of history has the Swastika been used as a symbol of the German Nazi movement.

I also see it with amusement. There will be times when symbols become less important again.

But at our time when conservatives are attacked for saying…anything….it is hilarious as f*ck that the LGTBIKJALSDFJ people would run around with swastikas!!! One moral for me, one moral for thee. They stopped it anyway.

I think it is an interesting argument. I mean, the rainbow was originally God’s symbol to Noah after the Great Flood, but now it is mainly used in gay and lesbian organizations. Many symbols and their meanings can drastically shift over time.

Swastika stands for tolerance, forcing people to bake cakes for sexual deviants is tolerance, refusing the bake cakes for Trump supporters is tolerance, setting cars on fire, smashing windows, violence against political opponents is “fighting fascism,” banning terrorists is “racism”….

But “1984” is about Donald Trump?

Why don’t they use the Buddhist symbol for love and peace?

R. Arandas
R. Arandas

To be honest, I think a similar symbol is used by Buddhists and Hindus even today. The Germans basically stole their religious icon and turned it into something hateful and monstrous. Also, the original swastika was rotated to some degree, while this new one is not.

He also preferred to surrender to islum and muslums rather than fight them because he doesn’t want to muss his hair or get his fingers dirty. He wanted to take the moral high ground w/fascist, totalitarian vermin who don’t deserve it.

This dalliance further confirms the link between leftism and fascism. When the antifa thugs wearing masks look and act like Nazi brownshirts it is no coincidence. As a sage once remarked, “when fascism comes to America it will be called anti-fascism”.

The Boy Scouts used the Swastika on pins and books, it was a symbol of luck and achievement. Slightly different looking though I think. Swastikas have been around in various forms for 5000 years. Navajo, Hopi also used it. It is still viewed as a symbol for good by many.

No love nor pease from the Nazi. Those who would wear such a thing have a mental problem. And an anti human problem. I doubt they will sell many to homosexuals same with the Nazi groups. Neither will wear them.

It’s not really a bad idea, and I do believe those behind it have good intentions. The good will of the creators is there. After all, it started out that way among Hindus and Buddhists. It is along the lines of creating Jewish jewelry from Hamas missiles. HOWEVER, it is also like the newer generations of blacks using the “n” word to try and destigmatize it. I do not believe that it has worked so far. The world, other than Asia from whence it came, has a long way to go before it can forgive and flip the swastika back into its original meaning. The only groups other than Hindus and Buddhists who will find this symbol endearing are those wearing white sheets, either on their outside or their inside.

Actually, it has positive meanings today in China, Japan, and India, and always has done so. Some say its origin is astronomical: sketch the Big Dipper and Polaris every 6 hr and see what you get.

Not its fault for what someone chose to do with it.
