American flag BANNED on Michigan school’s dress code list

Michigan school systems — a Petri dish of the effects of the left/Islamic axis. The school is now saying it was in error. That’s not good enough. Who called for the flag ban? Why are they still on staff? How high up does this go?

American flag listed as banned on Roseville’s dress code

August 3, 2017, Fox News:

Story continues below advertisement

ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WJBK) – Parents are preparing to send their children back to the books in just a couple of weeks but Roseville parents received a concerning item listed among the clothing items that are prohibited: the U.S. Flag.

Parents received the letter from the school district this week and began posting to the FOX 2 Facebook page and flooding our inbox with pictures of the dress code. It lists several items as prohibited from tank tops to spandex to pajamas.

Here’s how it reads on the letter:

A Student’s Dress Should Not Interfere With The Learning Environment.

The Following Are Prohibited:

Tank Tops/Muscle Shirts
Spaghetti Straps
Bare Midriff Tops
Spandex/Underwear As Outerwear
Inappropriate Slogans And Emblems
Pajamas
Slippers
Sagging Pants
See-Through Clothing
Sunglasses
Hats Or Head Gear
U.S. Flag
Low Cut Shirts
Exposed Undergarments
Bandanas

The school says this letter was sent out in error and that the school dress code does not ban the American flag

US Flag iS OFFENSIVE TO jihadi on campus !

When citizens are organised , aware and willing to fight this using the Legal methods its possible to win against the Islamonazis just as Parents of san diego school did http://tinyurl.com/y8yzso88

Its a lesson on how to fight back and win. Its far more difficult in Europe due to Pro-islam Left/liberal Loons running the govt.

They want to ban the U.S. flag. Ok, all funding to the school stopped. Then, perhaps charges of treason, against those who brought this, can be explored.

Pffffft,

Spaghetti straps, bandanas, sagging pants, bare midriff tops, slippers, spandex underwear worn as outer wear, you can see these things at any Masonic Hall in England two nights a week.

But on a serious note, the ban on a US flag being worn at that Michigan school is an echo of a ban placed upon English children at a state school in Luton Bedfordshire showing the white field and red cross of St George by the left wing staff supported by the left wing Labour council in 2011.

The town was the birth place of the EDL who had just exposed the complicity of the police, teachers and reporters in the cover up of the child sexual exploitation scandal.

It seems that wherever you look in the West, it’s always the hard left ” progressives ” who lead the way in national denigration.

“The school says this letter was sent out in error and that the school dress code does not ban the American flag”. Perhaps the school board is staffed by knuckle dragging imbeciles with inclinations towards islam, who cannot read nor understand the text that they put in letters. They should be forced to wear a flag every time they go out in public for one year.

It’s total BS. Even if they had a fourth grader proof reading the letter, they would have found it. It’s only because they were caught that they backtracked and said ‘it does not ban the flag.’ Right.

I noticed something like that a few years ago. I used to get T-shirts from a certain government agency, which carried a small American flag, and saying “Take Pride in America” or something like that.

Then, during the previous admin, they dropped the flag, and the slogan.

Yes, because there can NEVER be a mistake, it MUST be a nefarious plot. Remember that next time you make a mistake.

Also: Doesn’t the flag code state that the U.S. Flag is not to be worn as an item of clothing?

Why do soldiers wear the flag on their shoulder? Is it because it’s disrespectful??

jaydeflix

That is not a U.S. Flag worn as *an item of clothing* and is explicitly allowed in the flag code, not that the flag code is law.

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/4/8

No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be affixed to the uniform of military personnel, firemen, policemen, and members of patriotic organizations. The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a living thing. Therefore, the lapel flag pin being a replica, should be worn on the left lapel near the heart

Having a US flag emblem, as on a patch on a Boy Scout or ROTC uniform should not be an issue, but actually wearing a flag as an article of clothing is extremely disrespectful.

In fact, it is illegal, but the law has almost certainly been invalidated by court rulings allowing leftists, jihadists, and other anti-American ordure from burning or otherwise desecrating the flag.

Immediately throw whomever wrote and approved the dress code to the head of the line before the U.S. Marines in combat. Let these people be their human shield for a change and see how they like dodging bullets. Maybe they’ll learn some respect for those who earn this schools freedom and that flag for them!

Persistence pays off and by now you know the drill. Banning the flag is obviously a First Amendment violation so wear it anyway and force the school district’s hand at enforcing its unconstitutional rule. When they do, file a civil suit under the First Amendment and walk away with your rights restored and a nice little bit of pocket change to boot. This is a case a first year law student could win.

Brain dead progressive zombies / globalists that control the life in our republic (in politics, bureaucracy [deep state], the MSM, Academia, the Legal system, culture/arts/entertainment establishments, NGO’s, some multinational corporations), and are aiding and abetting the Muslim brotherhood and / or Iran global, political agendas, are a thousand times more dangerous to the free western world then 1.6 billion* primitive/barbaric/Antisemitic/blood thirsty Muslims will ever be…

* One can argue that not all of the 1.6 billion Muslims are indeed primitive/barbaric/Antisemitic/blood thirsty but even if only a quarter (a conservative assessment that brings the figure of anti western Muslims to the staggering ~400 million world wide figure!!) of that figure fits the bill to varying extents, it means that the world is actually engulfed in a full blown clash of civilizations / religious war which the globalists with the help of the MSM, are feverishly trying to hide from plain site

Also, for the sake of argument, if the majority (let’s say 90%) of Muslims are NOT primitive/barbaric/Antisemitic/blood thirsty (to varying extents), why is it that we don’t see mass Muslim movements (with global reach, millions of sincere Muslim supporters fighting tooth and nail with the west against ALL Muslim extremism) that advocate for and actively promote religious reform and utterly / categorically denounce Muslim terror against non Muslims? Instead Muslims in the west display zero self criticism and wallow (with support of the progressive zombies) in cynical, disingenuous victim hood

The slogan that says that All immigrants enrich America and that America is a country of immigrants, is tragically false in the case of Muslim immigrants

Muslim immigrants with their inherent anti western religion/culture/heritage/attitudes and the help of their progressive enablers, only sow division and mistrust within American society which is and will continue to suffer from these growing tensions that threaten the unity of the Republic, both these groups (Muslims in the US and the brain dead progressives) will ultimately (with in the next 5-10 years) pay a hefty price for their anti American behavior

This dress code is reasonable, and banning the flag as an article of clothing is consistent with proper flag etiquette. It is disrespectful to display the flag or a facsimile of the flag as a durag, running shorts, socks, backpack, jeans, shirt, jacket, etc. Leftist pukes love to wear clothing that shows the flag in a defiled manner so as to be provocative. Patriots think they are proudly displaying love for their country by wearing a flag as a common piece of clothing. Both are wrong and the school district is correct in asking that both sides refrain from being provocative and distasteful by adhering to common courtesy and respect for the flag. Read 36 U.S. Code 173-178 to learn how to reverently treat the flag as the special and honored symbol it is.

absolutely ! crap like this and worse have been going on for over 60 years. just a little bit at a time. any complaints are usually met with “you`re the only one who complained”. then if you dare to try to organize, you`ll experience the Delphi Technique. You`ll find yourself with few friends, possible job loss, property damage and wishing you`d kept quiet. Or, as I did, get really pissed off and fight back.

Schools are so into brainwashing their charges that some are struggling just to be able to sign their own name. All schools that have banned good education in favor of propaganda need to be closed down, their administrators and staff stripped of their credentials and be given nothing more than mops, as they are not worth the education they had put into them.

As with all diseases of this type, the only cure is total elimination of every point of infection by any means.

Members of Roseville School District. Just in case you have a plan to bring the Teachings of Islam into your District schools, be advise that the Supreme Court has ruled that he teaching of Islam in any Public Schools or Public Colleges is forbidden. The teaching of Islam is not Compatible with our way of Life, Our Constitution, or our laws. Please pass it along to other districts. Thank You! I also find it an insulting to Ban the flag of our Country From ANYWHERE. As a Veteran its an insult to every America who has served their country, as well as those who lost their lives defending Our Nation. Its insult to every American. I’m glad that you reversed your decision. Thanks to all the Americans in Roseville for standing up for Our Flag, and Our Country. God Bless you all!

TECHNICALLY, in accordance with US Flag etiquette the US Flag is NOT to be worn as clothing…http://www.military.com/flag-day/flag-ettiquette-dos-and-donts.html & http://www.usflag.org/flagetiquette.html

Quick list of Flag Etiquette Don’ts:

Don’t dip the U.S. Flag for any person, flag, or vessel.
Don’t let the flag touch the ground.
Don’t fly flag upside down unless there is an emergency.
Don’t carry the flag flat, or carry things in it.
Don’t use the flag as clothing.
Don’t store the flag where it can get dirty.
Don’t use it as a cover.
Don’t fasten it or tie it back. Always allow it to fall free.
Don’t draw on, or otherwise mark the flag.
Don’t use the flag for decoration. Use bunting with the blue on top, then white, then red.

http://www.usflag.org/flagetiquette.html
The Flag Code, which formalizes and unifies the traditional ways in which we give respect to the flag, also contains specific instructions on how the flag is not to be used. They are:

The flag should never be dipped to any person or thing. It is flown upside down only as a distress signal.
The flag should not be used as a drapery, or for covering a speakers desk, draping a platform, or for any decoration in general. Bunting of blue, white and red stripes is available for these purposes. The blue stripe of the bunting should be on the top.
The flag should never be used for any advertising purpose. It should not be embroidered, printed or otherwise impressed on such articles as cushions, handkerchiefs, napkins, boxes, or anything intended to be discarded after temporary use. Advertising signs should not be attached to the staff or halyard
The flag should not be used as part of a costume or athletic uniform, except that a flag patch may be used on the uniform of military personnel, fireman, policeman and members of patriotic organizations.
The flag should never have placed on it, or attached to it, any mark, insignia, letter, word, number, figure, or drawing of any kind.
The flag should never be used as a receptacle for receiving, holding, carrying, or delivering anything.

Above is a copy of the policy.

Any American public school banning the American flag should be investigated for curriculum content. Every school school receiving public funds should be flying the American flag and all students attending required to pledge allegiance to the flag every day. If they cannot say the pledge let them go to a private school or be home schooled. Enough is enough.
