Stanley Sainey lives in the same apartment building as the couple and said he was shocked to learn that the woman had been stabbed and that police are looking for her partner.
“He is always smiling and would often say hello,” Sainey said. “When I saw his car was gone I figured it out. I was very surprised by this news because I didn’t know there was violence in that relationship.”

The woman has two other children who were not home when their mother was attacked. The woman had called police Sunday night after a dispute with her partner. Police suggested to her that her two children stay with relatives.

UPDATED: A baby has died and a man has been arrested hours after a pregnant woman was brutally stabbed in a home in Montreal North Monday morning. This story will be updated as information becomes available.
A few hours before a pregnant woman was stabbed in Montreal North, police had urged her to “go to a safe place like a shelter or with some relatives,” Montreal police said Monday.
About 2:30 a.m. Monday, the woman, who was eight months pregnant, was stabbed several times and was rushed to hospital after neighbours in her building on Langelier Blvd. near Pascal St. called 911.
Her child was delivered by emergency C-section, but died within a few hours, police said. A man has been arrested and while prosecutors will decide what charges he could face, a police spokesman said he might face a murder charge.
The woman had called police at 10 p.m. Sunday to report a case of conjugal violence. The man was not present when police arrived, but officers filled out a report to press charges against her 37-year-old partner. Her two other children were removed from the home. “Police officers took a report and were looking for that man,” said police spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant.
Police told the woman to call 911 if the man returned.
Noella Bernier, a neighbour, said she heard knocking on her door and screaming early Monday.
“I opened my door, she was screaming,” Bernier said. “I called 911. She was wounded and there was blood all over her. Blood on her stomach. She was pregnant, she told me she was in her last month.”

Sainey said he rarely spoke to the victim because “she is very quiet and doesn’t talk a lot.”
However, he confirmed that police had been at the apartment several times since the couple moved in last December. “I saw the police going up the stairs but I didn’t know what it was about.”
A woman who lives across the street said she has put her condo up for sale because there is too much trouble and noise on the street.

Actually I am quite familiar with the Canadian election process. Also, I can clearly see the total lack of opposition to the islamification of Canada by its citizens and in particularly the conservative alleged opposition. If every muslim voted liberal, there would not have been enough to put the ito power, they had a lot of help.
1,053,945 muslims in Canada, 6,930,136 voters voted liberal. There is a lot of support for shari’a in Canada.
