Pope Francis received a noteworthy honor last week when Ahmed al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Cairo’s al-Azhar, thanked him for his “defense of Islam against the accusation of violence and terrorism.”
Has any other Pope of Rome in the history of Christianity ever been heralded as a “defender of Islam”?
Of course not. But the Catholic Church has come a long way since the days of Pope Callixtus III, who vowed in 1455 to “exalt the true Faith, and to extirpate the diabolical sect of the reprobate and faithless Mahomet in the East.”

If time travel could be arranged and Pope Francis could run into Callixtus III, Callixtus could “expect a punch,” for Francis is not just a defender of Islam, but a defender of the Sharia death penalty for blasphemy: after Islamic jihadists murdered the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists who had drawn Muhammad, Francis obliquely justified the murders by saying that “it is true that you must not react violently, but although we are good friends if [an aide] says a curse word against my mother, he can expect a punch, it’s normal. You can’t make a toy out of the religions of others. These people provoke and then (something can happen). In freedom of expression there are limits.”
So for the Pope, murdering people for violating Sharia blasphemy laws is “normal,” and it isn’t terrorism for “Christian terrorism does not exist, Jewish terrorism does not exist, and Muslim terrorism does not exist. They do not exist,” he said in a speech last February. “There are fundamentalist and violent individuals in all peoples and religions—and with intolerant generalizations they become stronger because they feed on hate and xenophobia.”
So there is no Islamic terrorism, but if you engage in “intolerant generalizations,” you can “expect a punch.” The Pope, like the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, apparently thinks that the problem is not jihad terror, but non-Muslims talking about jihad terror; Muslims would be peaceful if non-Muslims would simply censor themselves and self-impose Sharia blasphemy restrictions regarding criticism of Islam.
For Pope Francis has no patience with those who discuss such matters: “I don’t like to talk about Islamic violence, because every day, when I read the newspaper, I see violence.” He said, according to Crux, that “when he reads the newspaper, he reads about an Italian who kills his fiancé or his mother in law.” The pontiff added: “They are baptized Catholics. They are violent Catholics.” He said that if he spoke about “Islamic violence,” then he would have to speak about “Catholic violence” as well.
That comparison made no sense, for Italian Catholics who killed their fiancés or mothers in law were not acting in accord with the teachings of their religion, while the Qur’an and Islamic teaching contain numerous exhortations to violence.
But Pope Francis, defender of Islam, cannot concern himself with such minutiae. Nor does he appear to be particularly concerned about the fact that all his false statements about the motivating ideology behind the massive Muslim persecution of Christians over the last few years only enables and abets that persecution, for if that ideology is not identified and confronted, it will continue to flourish.
The Pope of Rome, whom Catholics consider to be the earthly head of the Church, should be a defender of Christianity, not a defender of Islam, the religion that has been at war with Christianity and Judeo-Christian civilization since its earliest days. That any Christian leader would be called a “defender of Islam” by anyone only casts into vivid relief the absurdity of our age and the weakness of the free world. Can you imagine any Muslim leader ever being called a “defender of Christianity”? Of course not: Muslim leaders are more aware than their fond defender in the Vatican that Islam mandates warfare against unbelievers, not defense of their theological views.
Pope Francis is not only disastrously wrongheaded about an obvious fact that is reinforced by every day’s headlines; he is also deceiving and misleading his people about a matter of utmost importance, and keeping them ignorant and complacent about a growing and advancing threat.

When a pope defends hell, he has abdicated his role of leader. This pope clearly is totally ignorant of islam nor has any clue about the Bible either. islam is precisely what scripture warns about. There is no alternative, Catholics are gain to have top separate from the evil roman islamic cult, crislam. We are not discussing events of history, we are dealing with the terrors of contemporary islam.

Do not presume to give lessons in Christianity, it is weak mealy mouthed insipid Christians that grovel before the devil of islam, deceiving themselves into the arrogance of false humility, when it is nothing but spiritual sloth. Christianity doe not mean submission to anything, it is the acceptance of the divine, who created us to live, now and for eternity, not die from stupidity and arrogant ignorance. The main problem with Islam is that it fosters all kinds of bad things we have no defenses for, like the black plague, so when the Crusaders went over there they brought the black death back to Europe, which wiped out 1/3 or so of the population. Maybe 100,000 or more of our troops that went to Iraq came back with strange diseases we aren’t familiar with. Hence the containment strategy, keep them in their hole, don’t let them into our countries.

In Canada all pedophilia centers – so called orphanages or schools – were closed across the country after 100 years of abuse of children by Catholic priests.Pedophilia was rampant.
The Roman Catholic Church had to close all those centers in the country – hundreds of them – and sell them to pay the victims after years of legal trials, court rulings and counter- rulings. Also all the religious orders that “administered” those centers of abuse were disbanded.
Justin Trudeau personally asked the Pope two weeks ago that it is time for the Pope to publicly apologise and condemn those aberrant acts performed by the Catholic Church against children. Nothing has been heard from Francis so far.
Now we know a little of what the RCC does with the approval of the Popes.

Wether you agree or don’t agree with the Catholic churches interfaith dialogue programs since the 1960’s, taking any thing Pope says with the world islam in it, out of context to make out he supports islam over Christianity is bearing false witness. Don’t you know your Ten commandments? It took me two bloody seconds to find the real answer to the question asked on an airplane, and to make out that the Pope is responsible for what a muslims says after the Pope goes home is ridiculous. As is true for any world leader, there is no ‘ignorance of Islam’ on this pope’s part. No more than Merkel or May or Trudeau are ‘ignorant’ of Islam and what is happening. They know precisely what is happening, and are complicit in the advance of Islam, to the destruction of Western civilization.
Francis defends Islam, equates it with Christianity. A Marxist tactic.

There should be no surprise when people regard organized religion/churches as irrelevant. The Catholic Church is not alone in this march to irrelevancy. They’re like the media, telling us what we’re supposed to see.

And not with just the Catholic church but the 7 sisters of the apostate protestant churches as well who blaspheme Christ by ordaining homosexual pastors and bishops and calling it godly…

This Pope is bad news. It is bad enough that we have the Left against us and the MSM against us. Having the Pope, and therefore, Catholics in general as well on the wrong side, is too much. I think more should be done to condemn this fake pope. Perhaps marches and demonstrations calling the Catholics to condemn their own pope might be in order.

No, during WW II, the church was a defender and ally of the Nazis and of the jihadis and Jew haters back then. Then, there was that little thing called the “Inquisition.” What the church did, when it saw the rise of Christianity, was to simply take it over, so that Rome could continue to rule. The Vatican and its pope are members of the NWO club. No one ever said that ALL Muslims are bad. It is Islam that is evil. Islam, making entire cultures mentally ill for centuries. Someone once asked a wise person what would be the downfall of the human race. The answer was in one word, “dogma.” And, so, we have it.

I repeat, people are so ready to accept what is fed them, will make no attempt to check if what I say is the truth, instead abuse me for pointing out that the information they are consuming is a distortion, and ignore the link showing at least one source for the actual circumstances the quote was lifted from. “It”s easier to fool people than to show them they have been fooled. The anger towards the Pope and the annoyance for any one showing them that their hatred is misplaced, is a phenomenon know as group mentality and just shows technology makes no difference in human emotions controlling the brain…the people attacking the Pope for being the anti Pope and failing the Christian church, have failed to see the irony of how oratory sways the crowd…see the New Testament.(or the irony of defending Christianity against the accused “devil” Pope with hateful words and no truth to the accusations, couple of commandments broken there) See Shakespeare too, if our culture had not been dumbed down, the internet would not now be more effective than voices in the crowd yelling for blood, and others taking up the cry with such enthusiasm, and less reason for doing so, because we would know why Jesus got crucified with the crowds approval, and why Mark Anthony bested Marcus Brutus. We would also remember such homilies as believe nothing you read and only half of what you see or visa versa. Advertisements work so well because of the human’s brain, so does propaganda, see the 20th century. Thank God some of us still stand for something, so we don’t fall for anything on the Internet, and we where educated before the dumbing down. “There will be gnashing of teeth” when you find out what sheep you have been, while your real enemy steals your country from under you. Can’t say you where not warned, your vehemence is misplaced, its your own Governments stealing your future, go get on to them, the Church adopted inter faith dialogue back in the 1960’s, bit late to get cranky about it, totally wasting your time. The UN is stealing your taxes, while they replace your population and culture with islam..what are you doing about that?
