Too many foreigners in France and Islam not compatible, majority of French say
Most French people say there are too many foreigners in France, immigrants do not make an effort to assimilate and Islam is incompatible with the French values.
France’s new president clearly has some healing to do when it comes to two longstanding divisive issues in France.Immigration and the place of Islam in society, are still very much contentious questions for the French, a new annual survey has revealed.A poll by the Ipsos institute for Le Monde newspaper has revealed that a majority of 65 percent of French people say there are too many foreigners in France, a figure that has remained elevated in recent years, with the figure as high as 70 percent in 2017.Another stat demonstrating a majority of French people are uncomfortable with immigration was the 60 percent of people who agreed with the statement: “Today I no longer feel at home like I did before”.
Of course not because it’s not your home anymore.
On top of that some 61 percent of French people share the belief that “immigrants in France do not make an effort to integrate”.Some 46 percent of French people believe it’s not difficult for an immigrant to integrate.Unsurprisingly the percentages are far higher among those on the far right – 95 percent of National Front voters believe there are too many foreigners in France compared to those on the left (46 percent of Socialists).When it came to the other ever divisive issue of the role of Islam, 60 percent of the people questioned for the survey titled “French Fractures 2017″, believe the religion of Islam is incompatible with the values of the French Republic”.In a separate question some 78 percent of French people are of the view that Islam “seeks to impose its way of life on others”.Regarding radical Islam, 46% of the French polled said that “even if it is not its main message, Islam still contains within it the seeds of violence and intolerance”.That reflects a jump of five percentage points on last year’s survey.France has been at the receiving end of a string of Jihadist terror attacks in recent years, including the November 2015 attack at the Bataclan which claimed 150 lives.The repeated terror attacks, which have exposed the deep insecurity around “l’identité nationale”, have led to demands for foreigners to assimilate, rather than just integrate into the French way of life and culture.In September 2016, The Local reported that French politicians were aggressively demanding immigrants drop their own identities and assimilate into French culture and way of life.Rows over the influence of Islam regularly flare up in France, whether its over the wearing of the veil, school dinners for Muslim pupils or most notably the wearing of burkinis on French beaches, an issue which made global headlines last Summer when the swimwear was banned by around 30 French mayors last year.Photo: AFP
France has had a longstanding tradition of demanding immigrants assimilate, dating back to the 19th century when it was used as a policy towards its Jewish population and then towards colonized countries.In August 2016, The Local reported that another poll by Ipsos showed that just 11 percent of the French felt that immigration had an overall positive impact; with an average figure over the 22 countries surveyed of 20 percent, ranging from six percent in Turkey to 36 percent in Canada.

There are 2 easy ways to end the spread of Islam in the West.
1) Never buy Halal meat. Always inquire about the slaughter of the meat. Avoid curry or kebabs if it involves Halal.
There used to be options with regard to kebabs i.e. Greek, and also with Indian food, i.e. proper Hindu Indian food. This has all been hijacked by Muslims.
2) Use Uber instead of licensed taxis, which tend to be business handed down from Pakistani father to son.
Get a feel for the sort of drivers your local Ubers are. Uber will be easier to manipulate than single car businesses.
Cut Muslim income off at source.

Ultimately, Le Pen may have been too much of a wildcard economically and politically. People will put money before culture.
Hopefully with the Arab Spring and removal of dictators, Muslims will eventually choose to move to the middle East. It depends how much they can scrounge from western economies first though.

Neither do I. What is especially odd is that the French have always been so protective of their culture. In the 80s as I recall, due to the popularity of English music, they passed laws that a certain percentage of songs played on the radio had to be in French. Now they don’t seem to care about the preservation of their language and culture.

That is why America could use a registration system similar to Canada’s where names are checked off as ballots issued. The voters list is largely made up from tax return lists, there is an option to register not using your tax return.

I don’t see Americans slamming the door on immigrants at all. Just look at the recent court decision on Trump’s travel ban. The court made an exception for those with legitimate relationships to someone already in the US. So in other words everyone will still come in and who comes in depends on who else is already here thus placing our immigration in the hands of non-citizens. This castrates the entire bill!
The real problem is that too many people are just simply afraid of being called names and there are really no politicians who are willing to tell it like it is, which is that Western Civilization is being killed in an unconventional war, a war in which the combatants are not in uniform, a war of religion and or ideology. We are fighting according to RULES of conventional warfare and they are ignoring those rules.

Those statistics are very interesting and extremely depressing. So what do they want, at this late hour? Did they not have an opportunity to vote otherwise? Where were the 65% on election day? They voted left, like Austria, Netherlands, like Germany shall do soon, like Canada, and so forth. There were politicians who wished to revise, revamp, rethink the issue of immigration. Those who would consider the availability of resources, jobs, and the pressures borne by native cultures when countries are flooded with millions of people who are unable/unwilling to truthfully assimilate. The result is countries filled with separate communities. Everyone going his own way, no commonality, no brotherhood, just sadness. What did anyone expect?
On the opposite end of the spectrum is Pres. Erdogon who has essentially taken what little secularism there was in Turkey and eliminated it.
My fervent hope was that mankind could live together in peace, but remember this, that one man can kill millions, and destroy empires, as we have seen throughout history. This goes for all cultures.

Those who think that we have defeated muslims in the past, when we drove them out of spain, italy and other lands, need to understand that it was not exactly victory in the real sense.
These lands that we re-captured from muslims – Were our lands in the first place.
Therefore, the only thing we managed to do was take back our lands that were taken away from us. This is not actual victory.
Victory would have been after taking back our lands, we took over their lands, just as they took over ours. If we had taken over saudi arabia, oman, yemen, et al – That would have been victory.
But as it stands – The middle east, which was christian, is today muslim land. North africa, which was christian, is today muslim land. Constantinople is today istanbul – Muslim land.
