Police in a German city have ordered a shopping centre to stay closed today due to “concrete indications about a possible attack.”

Police have shut down a shopping center in the western German city of Essen, citing “reliable tip-offs” warning of an imminent terrorist attack, according to local media.
“The current state of our investigation points to the threat being exclusively at the shopping center,” local police said in a statement.
The nature of the threat to the shopping center located at Limbecker Platz in downtown Essen was not elaborated upon.
While the threat apparently concerns only the shopping center, the adjacent roads and entrances to the building have been blocked.
“Police are now intensively trying to clarify the nature of the threat using numerous specialists. Ongoing investigations currently prohibit the disclosure of further details due to the ongoing investigation,” they added.
While the police did not use the phrase “terrorist attack threat” in their statement, local media such as Spiegel or Die Welt are describing it as such.
Security has been tight in Germany since a string of lone-wolf terror attacks hit the country last year. A Syrian refugee detonated an explosive device outside a music festival in the town of Ansbach last July, killing himself and injuring 12 others. There has also been an axe assault and a shooting spree, as well as a truck attack that took place in Berlin last December.

In early March, the head of Germany’s domestic intelligence agency, Hans-Georg Maassen, said that Islamists could carry out terrorist attacks at any time, warning that “the potential of violence-oriented Islamists in Germany is growing steadily and will continue to increase.” He also stressed that “the high level of hazards for Germany and its interests from Islamist terrorism” remains unchanged.

– Why is it only Merkel’s fault? She is not a dictator. She is an elected representative of the German people; she is answerable to the Bundestag.
– The entire German establishment is responsible. As are all those Germans who are lining up to vote for the same group of people again.
– If the opinion polls are correct, Schulz will win. And he is far worse than Merkel. Who is at fault for voting these people into office?
– The Germans are free to commit suicide. What bothers me is their desire to take everyone else in the EU with them. They want to force other countries to take the pets that they invited; and unlike Sweden they have the power to do so.

Consider that relatively small geographical areas (the bluest of the blue) in which Hillary prevailed. Trump triumphed in spite of everything the other GOP candidates, the media, the DNC and Hillary’s campaign threw at him. including the credible claims of Pro-Hillary voter fraud. His victory reflected the will of the American people, and demonstrated the value of the Electoral College.

don’t forget 1) they don’t count absentee ballots unless the count is close enough. Its true that a lot of Americans didn’t rise up and remain oblivious to the real dangers faced by our country but, on the other hand, during the election the swing vote competition was significant enough to make a pivotal difference in wisconsin, michigan, and pennsylvania in trump’s victory. It’s not just in Germany. In Canada were have a whole array of brain-dead liberals in power, municipal, provincial and federal who support Islamic encroachment. Among these are two female mayors of Brampton and Mississauga who condemn and insult those who point out the dangers of their stupid policies, not least supporting Muslim sermons and prayers in schools – while not allowing Christian, Jewish or Hindu prayers – but the fact is, an idiotic electorate put these dumb-heads in office. Many of us ridicule these mayors and supporters for their ignorance of Islam and p.c. stupidity, but when an ass like Trudeau attends a town hall meeting I’ve read that he is greeted by mostly “adoring” crowds. Apparently these crowds like stupidity.

They have to shut down a mall because of the possibility of an attack. We should not be too hard on the Germans for their failure to react and throw the Muslim population, who are the threat, out of their country. I remember two towers that were destroyed and that was an actual attack and not much was done to prevent any further attacks by getting rid of the potential offenders.
