We have lost Turkey. After a century of fighting for the Kemalist separation of mosque and state, Turkey has all but lost the fight against jihad and sharia under Erdogan’s jihad rule. It is now operating like a seventh-century barbaric Islamic state. The coup was made possible by Obama’s sanction and embrace of the dictator who means to be the “second Hitler.”
When asked who Obama’s favorite, most trusted foreign leader is, Obama responded without hesitation that it was Erdogan. That speaks volumes as to what’s in Obama’s rather small heart.

In October, Erdogan re-started a civil war with the Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) in a cynical ploy to gain support from nationalist voters. Erdogan promised to “cleanse” Turkey of militants. Since October, 260 civilians have been killed. A curfew has been declared in municipalities across Turkey’s Southeast. Cizre has been destroyed.Erdogan undermines the rule of law.
Erdogan dismisses calls for decentralization and enhancing local government, in accordance with Council of Europe standards, as a Trojan horse for Kurdish separatism. He ordered air strikes against Syrian Kurds who have established a buffer zone along the Turkish-Syrian border. Syrian Kurds are America’s best and most effective ally fighting ISIS in Syria.Corruption is widespread.
Three ministers faced allegations of fraud and were forced to resign in 2013. Erdogan’s family members are allegedly involved in corrupt dealings, including profiting from ISIS oil smuggled out of Syria, and contravening sanctions against Iran.The Obama administration turns a blind eye to Erdogan’s travesties. It has been a long time since Turkey was the indispensable eastern flank of NATO bordering the Soviet Union. The world has changed, and so has Turkey. Under Erdogan’s hegemonic rule, Turkey no longer holds Western values nor does it serve US interests.
The Obama administration must review and modify its approach to Turkey. Washington’s deplorable silence makes it complicit in Erdogan’s crimes.

It seems that all those “Kamalist” reforms were nothing but an illusion. They were supported not by any genuine modernization of Turkish society but by brute force of military rule. Once that military was removed from power, and they have chosen “democratic” way, they all but reverse to their “caliphate tradition.” So now we’re here.

My bet, despite what Mr Phillips, the article’s writer, advises, Obama is so deeply in bed with Erdogan and Islam, and himself so devoid of moral impulses and instincts toward a free society, he will not accept any advice to distance himself from Erdogan. If NATO’s leadership had any gumption – which I doubt – it would expel Turkey from NATO and withdraw itself from Incirlik Air Force Base. Hopefully Britains David Cameron will finally stop encouraging this vile Muslims supremacist, Erdogan (a not particularly intelligent man who aspires to heading an Islamic Caliphate), from getting Turkey to join the E.U. and that the E.U. will finally wake up to contemporary Turkey’s hostile Islamic nature.
As to Barack Obama, he reveals himself for the filth that he is. As the saying goes, “Birds of a feather flock together and so do pigs with swine.” In the case of Erdogan and Obama, who is the pig and who the swine is anyone’s guess.
As to Obama’s claim – backed by the halfwits at CNN, not least Chris Quomo – that he is a Christian, I’ll simply say that in the New Testament is says: “By their fruit you shall recognize them” Matthew 7:16, which simply means that a person’s character is revealed through their conduct. 15 -“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 – You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 – Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 – A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 – Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
I cannot wait for Obama to be “cut down and thrown into the fire”! If a Christian, Obama’s instincts would be one of anger over the ghastly treatment of Christians in Iraq and Syria. It’s evident he doesn’t care and from that we can draw the logical conclusion that his sympathies are with Islam. Obama is, for all to see, a vile and disgusting president.

I do not agree with you on this Pamela. Turkey is responsible of what is happening now. The fact that Endorgan has been accepted by Obama put us on a more difficult situation. NIether in the free world, nor in other countries surrounding this area had happened. Moreover this was something we should have fought against as soon as comments on this first appeared. So it seems we are always some steps back from our objectives which are peace ,liberty and lining in secure places
