Work alongside other diversity, equity, and inclusion experts and practitioners to review and evaluate inclusion plans that are submitted as part of scientific proposals to NASA's Astrophysics Division. The purpose of the program is to help build more inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible (IDEA) environments in STEM.

Residents go behind the scenes of city services to experience the life cycle of the city.

As a Community Engagement program for the City of Plano, the Plano Citizens Academy teaches the basic roles and functions of municipal government through in-person simulations, tours and activities, as well as, lectures of selected departments to educate and engage residents on council and city staff's responsibilities throughout the year. Merit Badge Counselor

After reaching First Class rank, Boy Scouts must earn merit badges to advance all following ranks. There are more than 100 merit badges covering arts, business, personal management, science, and more. Each one has requirements the Scouts must complete before earning it. As merit badge counselor, I provide Scouts with knowledge and resources to help Scouts explore a topic of interest. Boy Scouts requires merit badge counselors to be experts in the topics they cover.

Took the webmaster job yet again! Position includes using Constant Contact to send email to the Renner Middle School community on a regular basis, and managing and updating PTA website.

Design and manage Barksdale PTA website to keep members and the community informed on the elementary school's activities.

Coordinate, design, edit and publish newsletter to inform the community of Barksdale PTA needs, events and news.

Revamped website by moving it to Wordpress for easier management. Website provided PTA, education, local and other resources for Plano Independent School District PTAs.

Created and maintained PTA's first website. Website provided board contact information, news and resources of interest to the parents, staff and the community.

Manage the website for the Dallas Chapter of Hadassah to keep members informed of activities, news and events.

Create and distribute news releases about elementary school events of interest to local media. Media published some articles and photos.

Revamped website by moving it to a more manageable content management system for easier management. Website provided PTA, education and other resources for Renner families and the community.

Promote the arts to Renner Middle School PTA. Managed the PTA Reflections Program. This involve promoting the program, recording entries, selecting judges, announcing winners, providing prizes and preparing winning entries for next level of competition.

Provided training, resources and advice to Plano Independent School District PTAs seeking publicity help. Promoted Plano ISD Council of PTAs events.

Collected post-education resources to share with the Plano ISD community. This included information about college, careers, scholarships and programs.

Parents, teachers, and community members serve on School-Based Improvement Committees (SBIC) on each PISD campus. These representatives work together to analyze student test data and develop goals that will positively affect student achievement. The SBIC is a required entity and its duties mandated by statute.
