Well, and here we are at the final stretch before Christmas. But, for those of us that live in Wisconsin, this is not the most amazing thing, as the weather has proven to be amazing so far this month and this week we even went out without a coat at all. I can hardly believe it and I am loving it.
And to get all wrapped up before Christmas, let's work on some last minute card. Today I am featuring the Festive Fireplace stamp set and framelit for the Dostamper Stars challenge 161. I used the Shimmering White paper for all the parts cut, and color the fireplace using the Blender pen, which made very easy to accomplish an appearance of age. I then went back and stamped the image again both the fireplace and the fire itself. I loved how it turned out. The wood grain added a nice touch to be "back wall", the ribbon sure imitated a chair rail, and the top wall was perfect left in white. A perfect living room for a perfect celebration.
