I love Swarovski butterflies. They are ever so pretty. Not many people use them probably because they can't think of something other than just using them as plain dangles. But Paola of Ricamar Gioielli, an Italian beader, rose to the challenge. I just love her design tutorial because she framed the butterflies with beadwork.
The actual blog is in Italian and can be translated. You can print out the images as many of her readers do.
However, the instructions in the images cannot be translated. The type of beads and the beading pathways are indicated in the diagrams. If you have some beading experience, you can easily figure out how to make these pretty earrings!
Paola said she will include the instructions in the posts for future tutorials!

I can never think of anything to do with these, either, though I have a handful of them from bead subscription boxes. This is something I'll have to try. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIs there any way to view the butterfly earrings tutorial in larger print? I can't see the thread path. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteFirst click on the image so that enlarges it. Then increase or zoom in on your computer. Use the settings in your browser. I use Chrome so when I click on the 3 dots on the top right, I see the zoom setting. Hope this is clear?
