Creating wire bird's nest jewelry has never been my forte. You do need a fair amount of wire to make a substantial "nest". So using jump rings as Rena did for her tutorial is brilliant! What she did is to use the mobius technique of interlocking metal rings from the chain maille making world.
Using jump rings also makes making smaller bird's nests easier.

ANother thing that I need to try! Good thing you taught me how to make jumprings - I have Brass wire to patina. Still, it may mean a trip to Iguana abeads to find little beads! ;)
