Be sure to cut all the wires in the back of the cross and file the ends smooth.  Make or buy a jump ring of heavy gauge wire and insert at the top of the cross.

If you have a problem keeping the wires straight while working, loosely wrap a fine wire around the separate sections to hold them in place temporarily.  You can also use masking tape or painters tape.

I like this cross a lot! If I didn’t know it was metal, I would think maybe it was rattan or some other woven material. Thank you for taking the time to do a tutorial. I will give this a go for a Christmas gift for my brother. I think it would look great on a guy. 🙂

Once again Zoraida you have shared with us mere mortals what talent one can achieve if we keep at it and practising. This is yet another fantastic wire wrap tutorial that is easy to follow. Perfect tute in time for Christmas too.

Here in Australia we’ve been having 40+ degree Celsius days- so it’s been perfect for sitting inside in the air con. I’ve been making this the feature on most of my Chrissy cards I’m sending out this year, so thank you ever so much (from long time fan )
    Hugs,
