One reason why I do not do much bead work is because of the time factor. So I always appreciate it when designers offer great tips on how to jump start the process. One such instructor is Svetlana McDaniel who shows us a how to make beaded earrings tutorial using metal rings.

Her design is beautiful. It's not hard to see why the earrings are quick to make.  The bead work is kept at a minimum because the metal rings provide the foundation.

The video tutorial is in Russian but there are English captions.



You can also use larger round or oval metal rings such as this beautiful beaded open oval pendant tutorial I wrote about some time ago.
