I too have trouble remembering all those "over and under and through" directions for tying a decorative scarf.
This is a cute idea but I really like your suggestion for a beaded necklace ring.

What a wonderful and easy scarf ring to make!

Think I'll get out my saw and have a go at making some for the upcoming Xmas markets.....

We already have snow out here - grrrrrrrrrrr! So scarves will be worn sooner than later!

I bought mine from a shop that is no longer in business. You could purchase some bracelet blanks - these might be too long. So use metal snips to cut them shorter or shape them. You will have to file the edges smooth. Alternatively buy some metal sheets - Rio Grande Jewelry supplies sells them. Draw a 3 inch long oval. Then cut and file as I mentioned.
