Many readers were already fans of African trade beads. I was so pleased a number of you also appreciated learning a little about them from last week's Bead Chest $30 gift certificate giveaway.

One reader, czecher1, said, "I'm always amazed how many things different cultures can still have in common.... beading being one."  Yes, there are beadaholics both past and present who live in different continents! 

So one lucky winner will get some well travelled beads to incorporate into jewelry designs.  I numbered all the eligible entries and used the random number over on random.org to pick the winner.  She is Barbara!  There were a few Barbaras - so it is the Barbara with Cameron in her email address!   Congratulations!
