I just came in from working outside and does this ever look cool and refreshing right about now.
I never make it to the Farmers Market but I do buy the Texas grown products at Wal-Mart every chance I get. I make a special point in looking for the products that are grown right here in Texas. Gotta support our farmers

Watermelons are so easy to grow! I grow them in my North Texas backyard garden. Great fun for the kids, too.

Every time we try to grow Watermelons something comes in our yard and eats holes in them.

We had this last night and it was so good that I made another batch at breakfast this morning.

I did change it up to our taste a bit. I find that milk muddies flavors, so I used sparkling water instead. If I want to add more protein, I'll probably replace the ice with 1-2T chia. And with all the fruit sugar, I skipped the honey and added a squirt of lime. The three fruits are a really nice combo and you balanced them well.
