Pilgrims attending the November, 2014 annual Mahasamadhi event at Kauai's Hindu Monastery enjoyed a daily lunch sponsored by the Kauai Aadheenam Yagam Fund.

Kauai Aadheenam, popularly referred to as Kauai's Hindu Monastery, is a traditional south Indian monastery located on the northern most of the Hawaiian islands, Kauai. It serves as the headquarters for the global activities of Saiva Siddhanta Church, Himalayan Academy and Hindu Heritage Endowment.

It is traditional for an aadheenam to provide meals to its guests on special occasions, and this fund is intended to provide funds for that need.

Occasions include the annual Maha Samadhi Observance of Gurudeva, temple festivals for Kadavul and Iraivan Temples and other special events of the monastery.
