“You have to begin to lose your memory, if only in bits and pieces, to realize that memory is what makes our lives.” - Luis Buñuel

I share with you here, The Lost Mariner - a short film reflecting on memory, inspired by Dr. Oliver Sacks, culled from Brain Pickings. I share this inspiring animation with you here because I am hyper-aware of writings and reflections on memory as I slowly develop a body of work about memory, to be released later this year. I also love the subtle similarities between this short film, and the painting I shared in my last post.

This is my first blog post of 2016. I am currently in New York, sailing on seas of projects and inspirations, meeting with clients and making way for an exciting year of art and creativity. My first collection will be released over the first 4 months of 2016, and the second, will come along later in the fall. Soon I will tell you more about these projects, right here. Join me. Happy New Year.
