The FBI and police confronted Boston terror suspect Usaamah Abdullah Rahim after they intercepted a call where he said goodbye to his father, according to a report.

Police tracking Rahim for 10 days shot him dead in a parking lot on Tuesday when he refused to drop his military knife. Officers approached the CVS security guard after he allegedly called his father to say “his goodbyes,” CNN reported Thursday.

Rahim’s associate, David Wright, 25, was arrested shortly after the shooting, and police are still searching for the third suspect, CNN reported.

His associate, David Wright, 25, appeared in a federal court Wednesday. He is accused of encouraging Rahim to destroy evidence after the two discussed a plot to kill “those boys in blue” with a third, unnamed associate.

Wright, who told investigators that “he agreed with Rahim’s plan and supported it,” could face additional terrorism charges, a police source told the Boston Globe. Right now, he only faces obstruction charges for urging Rahim to destroy the cellphone he used to discuss the terror plot.

Rahim meticulously planned the attack, according to anti-terror police who tracked him.

The Massachusetts man bought three large knifes, telling Wright in a phone call that they were “good for carving wood and like, you know, carving sculptures … and you know?….”

He also explained to Wright and the third suspect that he planned to head to another state and behead police officers there. The trio met on a Rhode Island beach on Sunday to outline the plot, according to a police affidavit.

The three also apparently discussed plans to behead Conservative blogger Pamela Geller.

“There was some mention of that name,” Boston Police Commissioner William Evans said on Thursday on “Today.”

But on Tuesday morning, Rahim called Wright with a new plan: He would kill Massachusetts cops that day. In-state officers would be the “most common,” “easiest” target, he explained.

“I’m just going to, ah, go after them, those boys in blue,” he said in the call, which was recorded by the anti-terror force.

Police met up with him two hours later in a parking lot. They approach without their weapons drawn. That’s when Rahim pulled out one of the military-grade knives, police said.

The officers asked him to drop the weapon. He didn’t.

“He was on a mission. He was out to get someone in blue. It’s easy to understand why he didn’t put down that large, military knife,” Evans said.

The cops shot and killed Rahim. The suspect’s brother quickly accused the officers of shooting Rahim in the back as he talked on his cellphone. Boston police released surveillance video of the incident to outraged religious and community leaders.

“What the video does reveal to us very clearly is that the individual was not on a cellphone. The individual was not shot in the back,” Darnell Williams, president of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts, said at a press conference after watching the footage.

Wright will be back in court on June 19.

Meanwhile, Geller vowed not to back down, but admitted she was “concerned” by the latest threat.

“Of course I’m concerned but I get this all the time,” she told the Daily News Thursday. “I’m more afraid of doing nothing.”

The controversial blogger has surrounded herself with an “army” of private security guards, she added.

“This war is here and it’s raging. People just think, ‘just shut her up’ and it will be good. That’s the least of it.
