Uh oh. Get ready for a slew of movies showing us how the Islamic State is not Islamic.
Trust me, you won’t be getting any movies that reflect reality. You won’t be getting movies where the terrorists are Muslim. They’ll still be Russians and Serbs.
Instead, you’ll be getting “Daesh.”

Kerry uploaded a photo of the meeting on Twitter, saying, “Great convo w studio execs in LA. Good to hear their perspectives & ideas of how to counter #Daesh narrative,” deploying a term meant to undercut the terrorist group’s claim to statehood.
Sheesh. Ironically, “the attendees discussed … perceptions of America’s image around the world” — this from the group who has done the most to harm it.

Secretary of State John Kerry met with the heads of major studios on Tuesday to talk about how to counter the ISIS narrative.

Daesh is an acronym for the Arabic phrase “al-Dawla al-Islamiya fil Iraq wa al-Sham,” another term for ISIS. The terrorist group reportedly hates the term, but western leaders have been using it instead of Islamic State.
The meeting was held at Universal Studios, and lasted about 90 minutes.
One attendee who was there said that the executives also exchanged ideas and observations about studio worldwide marketing of movies and TV shows, a way of showing how narrative storytelling can cross cultures. The attendee described part of the gathering as a “brainstorming session,” including how to involve storytellers in regions afflicted or threatened by ISIS, as a way to counter the narratives promulgated by the terrorist organization. “Let’s figure out how to involve people who are there,” the attendee said.

The meeting was organized by Shell, who is chair of the Broadcasting Board of Governors. Kerry is a member of the board. Rick Stengel, under secretary of state for public diplomacy and public affairs, suggested that they set up a meeting with Kerry in Los Angeles after the summit with Asian leaders in Palm Springs this past weekend.

Kerry is a Muslim sympathizer and traitor. He and his buddy Obozo engineered the 2015 version of the Munich agreement guaranteeing Iran a path to a nuke and tens of billions to engage in terrorism around the world. The execs are in trouble for not making movies that are gender and racially diversified. Kerry was telling them that they will be fined millions if Hollywood doesn’t self censor and gave them a list of 25,000 words that are banned. Gov is trying to protect young adults under the age of 25 from the real world and freedom of speech/expression. Movies will be “safe” for the emotionally fragile and weak minded youth because heaven forbid if they hear or see something they don’t like…oh the humanity.

Hollywood behaved in the most cowardly fashion in the 1930s when it came to Hitler. Nothing changes. If an accurate movie is actually made about Daesh, it’s not going to come from Hollywood. Not America, Britain nor Europe. I can’t see it being made, not in the current appeasing political climate.

Pamela, my take is this: WW2 Hollywood was loyal and put out movies to boost morale at home and for soldiers at a USO. In Obama’s Domain he would meet with Hirohito bow he already did so to the horror of every Vet the Grandson, he would have kid in school honor Shinto holidays wear traditional dress and maybe swear allegence to the Emperor the Sun God part of Shitoism.

Oh deary dear, hollywood risks damnation for making pictures of people, contemporary movies, as an art form, have been going to hell in a hand basket for ears. this will not disturb them.
However as it says “`Abbas said: If you have to do it, draw pictures of trees and other inanimate things. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]”. Hollywood might be ok, as its actors are more vegetation than animal anyway, thereby complieing with islam.
