Republican 2016 presidential candidate and former Governor Jeb Bush (R-FL) spoke to reporters during a visit to the U.S.-Mexico border in McAllen, Texas. He emphasized that border security initiatives could have large impacts on local communities and their economies, and challenged fellow Republican candidate Donald Trump’s assertions that the border needed to be secured with an impenetrable wall.
