How To Use Video Crowdsourcing for Real Estate

By
Education & Training with Retired Executive Director of Education at eXp Non-Licensed

I just stumbled across this really cool site called Vidrack that allows users to setup a free account, create a landing page that can be customized on and from your mobile device, then sent and shared with your prospects, clients and followers etc. that allows them to record and submit their user created video.

This Vidrack example was setup in less than 5 minutes: http://vidrack.me/bradandersohn

“Vidrack is a web-based video recorder used to collect videos through a website or landing page. It’s a video record button you can place on any web page. Your followers can record and submit videos for you using only a camera and a browser. No app downloads, account creation, login, uploading or link sharing. It’s the simplest way possible for someone to record and submit a video to you. It can be used to collect video testimonials, video interviews, video feedback, video reviews and more.”

You can also embed Vidrack on your websites and blogs. This creates a single click option and opportunity to allow user submitted videos. (See embed below). How about a quick ActiveRain field test? Click the "Record Video" button, allow camera access then send me your "private" video response.

A Variety of Ways I see Using Vidrack for Your Real Estate Business.

  • Soliciting Video Reviews and Client Testimonials
  • Create Community Video Contests from User Submitted Videos
  • Video Interviews with Buyers and Sellers for DIY Projects
  • Submit Suggestive Tips and Allow Video Response Feedback
  • Add Video Record Button for visitors to record and submit video
(All videos are collected privately and stored on your Video Rack)

Brad Andersohn just added couple of things to do for my business - and here comes something new! Looks easy - and something similar to BombBomb, I guess...

Sep 21, 2015 03:41 PM
Brad Andersohn

Praful - The difference?

BombBomb is for sending your clients and prospects videos, VidRack is for requesting your client/prospect videos.  :-)

Praful Thakkar

Thanks Brad.

(BombBomb also is planning to add the testimonial request videos - or reply by video or something similar.)

Checking the site - and looks like they offer so many things for no cost. (Except CRM, I guess, which I believe will be part of Enterprise solution.)

I was just notified by email that there were 3 more videos created and submitted by AR members from this post.

I won't be posting them here since they are private messages to me but this is what the Vidrack dashboard looks like when videos are submitted to you.

This is cool and I haven't heard of this before so thanks for sharing... Video is most definately having great success... some have an easier time with it than others... much easier if you more extraverted... most agents are... not the case for me...  but I need to find a way to get over that... and do it anyway!!!

Thanks for reading and commenting Dianne. Video is a great marketing and communication tool, we just have to get our of our own minds and heads to use it most efficiently and effectively. A little practice with a purpose and a plan and you should be good to go.  :)
