Seasons of Change - The Journey of Life

By
Education & Training with Retired Executive Director of Education at eXp Non-Licensed

One thing I have learned in life that is constant and consistent like rain and taxes is "Change!" Change is inevitable in our lives regardless of who we are, what we do, or where we go. Each of us has our own unique circumstances and change is and always will be a huge and significant part of our lives.

While I know this will come as a shock or even surprise to some of you, I am no longer with Zillow. I was informed that the company had decided in their restructure process that there would be no future or role for my position and so we parted ways. I posted this announcement on Facebook and received more love and support than I could have ever imagined.

I used my time away to truly evaluate my life and passions. I spent time soul searching and seriously looking for just the right place I could call my new home. A place where the next chapter of my journey could continue. A place that shares my same passion, vision and dream that I do. I've learned that in life, each path we walk for any length of time is just another small link in the bigger chain of our life's purpose and overall journey.

Well, the seasons and winds of change are blowing once again and a new chapter begins today!

It is with gratitude, great joy and sincere excitement that I'm announcing today my position and role as the new executive director of education and industry outreach for eXp Realty International Corp. This is the next path, my biggest chapter and my new home.  The continuation of my life journey.

Here's a few of the press releases I was excited to see hit the media today.

Also, a very special thanks to my friends over at Inman News for helping to spread the word.

All that to say this. Thank you for all the love and support you've shown me over the years. In my new role, I get to continue working as a resource for all my ActiveRain friends and all the industry professionals that I've come to know and love over the years. I look forward and anticipate becoming an even bigger and better part of the education and training process that supports the people who are making a true and significant difference in the world and in the lives of others... that's YOU!

Sharon - you're so awesome, thanks. And I agree, bring em back! hmm...

Thanks Joan. I'm pretty excited and will find it hard not to share for sure.

Lottie - I'm looking to share everything I know in order to help agents who are interested make millions! :-))) Not to mention all the fun we'll have doing it.

Thinking.....

Okay, my wheels are spinning now... I was already revitising the idea of the traditional BarCamps but done in a non-traditional way? hmm...

I think RainCamps and BarCamps are great, I may even start a Bay Area BradCamp!?  lol~ I'll have to ponder these late night thoughts....  :-)

Gnite :-)

Ginny - Thank you, and "Happy" is what life is really all about.

The other day I looked up all the words that start with exp and it was exactly the positive words and what I expected to see so it kinda confirmed that it's the place I need to be.

The tools and resources they are building and providing for me to continue training and supporting my friends in the industry allows me to expand on what has previously been one of my greatest experiences in this industry! Getting to work with people just like you!!  :-)

Maya - thanks. I can still be a resource for you and your company. My industry outreach initiatives of helping others does not affect my internal support and training initiatives. There may be a little cross-over but at the end of the day, I get to still do what I love doing, and it will be a win-win for everyone involved both inside my company and outside in the industry.

I'm really excited to launch this new project and share it with the world. Am I excited? Heck ya! Why? I GET TO HELP AGENTS MAKE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS AND HAVE FUN IN THE PROCESS! WooHoo, how cool is that?   :)

Thanks again to all of you for your comments and continued love and support. We are building one of the most remarkable education centers and training campus for agents and brokers.

Our GRAND OPENING Day which you are all invited to attend will be a history making event that I'm confident will change the industry as we know it today.

One thing I learned during my 4 year stint at Zillow is to dream big and never give up on your BHAG! (Big Hairy Audacious Goals) That dream and goal will become a reality here very soon.

Sign up at RETechCampus.com is you want to be a part of that dream and participate in this history making/breaking event! Hundreds are already registered.  We're excited and anticipating a spectacular launch.

Hey Bill - I'm lucky to have the leaders and eXp execs behind a vision and dream that I believe is going to change the industry and make history when we launch. (more on that in my next AR Blog post)

I am lucky to have them as a part of my team and I'm equally as honored and privileged to be apart of theirs. Love "IS" what makes the world go around, and there's always plenty of love here in the rain... thank you.
