such gorgeous necklaces - I love the first two. How is spool knit different from viking knit? Also is it no longer follow to follow you by GFC? Sometimes I get an error message saying this blog has moved

Thanks for the lovely comments!

Divya - spool knitting is sometimes called french knitting. You can buy commercial spool knitters or make your own from nails and an old wooden thread spool. See more here - http://www.beadinggem.com/2010/06/how-to-spool-knit-wire-jewelry.html

Google has discontinued support for GFC. So I have removed the widget from my blog. You can of course follow me via email, RSS or through social media.

Hi Pearl,
Love what you have done with the connectors. Just thought you might like to see something similar - with rectangular tiles from a Chinese ox bone bracelet - cut up and converted into earrings, there is also a necklace to match, but this is constructed differently.

Thanks Neena for the link! How cool that the connectors were used so differently.

I've seen this idea of a big (handmade) bail on a multiple strand necklace in your designs before and I love it! And the last picture is a perfect example of unconventional uses of jewelry findings. Very inspiring!
