hi friends, it is the first friday of a new month and that means we have a viva la verve sketch to share with you. I have went with a bold watercolor background using some of the gorgeous daniel smith watercolors...these paints are amazing! I have used the verve stamp set called kindness matters and the rectangle die from the a cut above falling leaves die set. The leaves are from the a cut above great kindess die set. I hope you make time to play along with this months sketch!

I then added the sweet sentiment from the versatile verve stamp set called sentimental wishes and a few rose gold sequins! This is the cutest papers and designs to create fast and easy cards!

I have used the hope lifts set along with the lifted hope die set. I used tim holtz distress oxide ink for the background and then added lots of fun splatter, finished with enamel dots and twine.

viva la verve/april - you've been on my heart

hello verve friends, we are sharing the new viva la verve sketch for april and a few peeks at a new release starting tomorrow. you can shop the new release here now. I have created a watercolor background using avery elle liquid watercolors and then added a layer of checkered embossing paste. the butterfly shape is a new verve die and the awesome sentiment if from the new set hope lifts. I have added clear sequins and some twine. I hope you will join us and play along!

viva la verve/march sketch - birthday wishes

happy friday friends, it has been an awesome week...I was off from work unexpectedly(mechanical issues at work) and have enjoyed every minute of it! I am playing along with the viva la verve sketch for march, yes; I said march...just where is this year going? I have used the verve stamps set called butterfly grace and beautiful things.  I added polka dots to the butterflies for a little something extra..using purple and aqua color combo and a bit of b&w striped designer paper. inspired by - got mail?

welcoem to the second official week of inspired by, what an amazing team laurel has put together! you are gonna want to play along for sure! I was inspired by the snow and the snail mail delivery. I have used a paste embossing background and then added a few favorite elements. The heart is watercolored and it is from lil inker, the sentiment is verve, the got mail on the envelope is right at home and the flowers are reverse confetti. A super fun card to put together and it is going out to a very special friend...for realz! I can't wait to see what you create and I encourage you to send the card you make!

viva la verve/january sketch - cast your cares on the Lord

hello first friday of 2018....you look awesome! looking forward to many more meetings like this one..off for a long weekend...lol. we have an amazing viva la verve sketch to share with you, don't ya luv it? I have used the verve set called scripture melody, this is a great set to have for lots of occasions. I used a watercolor splash for the background and then added black ink splatter. Stamped the scripture with my mini misti to get rich black coverage. I added a few flowers that I had in my stash from various companies. I can't wait to see what you create!

verve stamps release - merry christmas

I have a fun card to share with you today, it is a verve digi release, I do like the digi's for the fact you can scale them to the size you want. I adore the deer image and made it larger for a more bold look to this christmas card.
