Red Rose Ball 2012: Las Vegas Cabaret Themed Charity Event (Nov 3)

Freeport, Bahamas - You could be the Jackpot winner at this year's Las Vegas Cabaret Charity Ball! As we the Red Rose Ball Committee predicts that this year’s event will be just as good as past events and the place to be again this year is the Grand Ballroom, Radisson Grand Lucayan Resort - this and every year!"

The Red Rose Ball Committee will host a magnificent black-tie Charity event, themed: “Las Vegas Cabaret Charity Ball” which will be held on November 3rd, 2012 in a continued collaborative effort with our Partners whom have taken a stand in helping us in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Grand Bahama, the event will be held under the distinguished patronage of The Rt. Honourable Perry G. Christie, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and First Lady, Mrs. Bernadette Christie.

The Radisson Grand Lucayan Resort is the ideal scene for this year’s Grand Ball. This amazing facility and Staff along with the Red Rose Ball Committee members will establish the perfect ambiance taking you directly into the Las Vegas Cabaret Show for this unique upscale event. The  main Entertainment for this year headlines will feature, Harold Melvin's Blue notes from Philadelphia and many more local entertainment such as SGFH Fashion Designer Kazz Forbes, Jullion Collie's New Wave Dancer, Miss Talented Grand Bahama 2012, Patricia Sweeting and The Matrix house Band.

Since we have mentioned the Blue Notes the excitement has kicked in, and the Public at large is really calling in to reserve their seats for this year’s ball. This Charity Event is usually attended by most of Freeport’s Business Professionals and regular supporters from the United States and the family islands in a black-tie Affair at the Radisson Grand Lucayan Resort. Cocktails will begin at 7:00p.m. and dinner promptly at 8:00p.m. Valet Parking will be available for a minimal cost for attendees.

This gala event includes a scrumptious five-course cuisine under dimmed candlelight’s, and a decorative scene by Jennifer Williams which promises to take you directly into a Vegas casino dinner and show. This mesmerizing evening will be filled with live music, dancing and festivities! This exciting night will begin as photographers capture memorable shots at the arrival of each guest.

Our masters of ceremonies impersonating celebrities such as James Brown and Elvis Presley on the evening will make sure that attendees are entertained well aware of everything that will be taking place at the event, especially the In-House Raffle, which you won’t want to miss.  You can be a winner of one of our many great prizes offered for just $10.00 per ticket.

The Red Rose Ball is a charity fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting HIV/AIDS education and the construction of a  Health Education/Resource Centre to accommodate the Grand Bahama AIDS Awareness Committee in Grand Bahama Island.

Tickets for this unprecedented affair are at a cost of $150.00 per person and can be purchased at Steppin Out, downtown, or at 1.9.6, Port Lucaya Market Place. "We can't think of a better way for business professionals, acquaintances--old and new—and the public at large to support a worthy cause such as the fight against HIV/AIDS, while at the same time having an enjoyable night," said Odette Knowles of the committee.

Congrats to Kathura Rahming of Nassau who will be flying in to Grand Bahama to attend the Red Rose Ball on November 3rd! Performing will be Harold Melvin's Blue Notes. Kathura corrected answer our question to name 3 themes of previous Red Rose Balls. She responded: All Things Bahamian Home coming, A Night a the Opera House, Australia and A Night at the Taj Mahal, India.
