It’s impossible to convey just how incredible last night’s Improbable Cafe was with this video of #LonnieHolley sitting in with James Partridge Trio for some improvisational music from somewhere mysterious. Lonnie said for this song he just used “the black keys”. For the next song he used “the white ones”. There were so many “moments” in this day that I’ll never forget. Lonnie showed up at our door and these songs fell out of the sky and into the piano. And there was only a handful of us there to witness it. I was on a different frequency the rest of the night.
