I used a sentiment from Perennial Postage stamp set (retiring soon!) and my heart shapes are punched from a retired punch set. The Designer Series Paper is NEW and the Ribbon is NEW and the card stock is NEW and the faceted dots are NEW! The color is called Summer Splash and is somewhere between Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana. It's lovely and very summery indeed.

Stippled Easter Card and Retiring Items List

Easter will be here soon. Today's card uses mainly the Stippled Roses Dies for the leaves, and Adoring Hearts Dies for the blooms. The piece of Designer Series Paper behind my artful arrangement is from my retired stash. You could use any color of any print to match your blooms or leaves. The sentiment is from the February Paper Pumpkin Kit, but again you could substitute any sentiment and layer it with some interesting shapes and colors for depth. The cross is stamped in Melon Mambo using the Hope and Prayer Stamp set.

In Colors Retiring Soon

This is the time of year to start thinking about saying goodbye to In Colors at Stampin' Up! It's sad, because we have grown to love and use these five colors during the past two years, but also exciting because there will be five NEW In Colors coming up with the next annual catalog release. 

The point today is to remind you that if there are colors in this batch that you LOVE, it's best to order them in paper, ink, refills, markers, etc. NOW before they run out of stock. 

I made these up lickety split using the (retired) envelopes and card bases from their first year, and of course my inks, ribbon, twine, card stock and some In Color Pearls.

Hello Irresistible Thank You Card

Happy Friday and Happy March. With my extra day yesterday (Leap Day) I made this 'Thank You' card for a customer who placed an order this week. I used the Hello Irresistible 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper and paired it up with Lemon Lolly and Petal Pink Card Stock. After making the front panel with three slices of the DSP, I ran the panel through the Stampin' Cut N Emboss machine using one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders for some texture.

I tied a bow using a length of the Lemon Lolly Sheer ribbon from the Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack horizontally around the panel.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from, Irresistible Blooms stamp set onto another print from the paper pack. I cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies and then attached it to a larger circle cut from Vellum Paper using Stampin' Dimensionals. For the finishing touch, I added some self adhesive sequins from my retired stash.
