Again and again and again, sharia in the public schools. We see no such accommodation for Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, etc. This is Islamic supremacism in action. It’s a violation of the establishment clause. If these Muslim kids want to pray in school, they should go to madrassas (Islamic schools).
Public schools have become yet another front in the islamization of America. University and college campuses have long been compromised and bought off with jihad millions. Now grade schools, junior and senior high schools are in the sights of the enemy. Common Core proselytizes for Islam, and the real history of jihadi wars, land appropriations, cultural annihilations and enslavements is scrubbed from school textbooks. High schools offer senior electives called “Islam and the Modern World,” requiring students to purchase the notorious Islamic apologist John Esposito’s The Straight Path. I detail a comprehensive plan of action against this in my book Stop the Islamization of America that parents can use to fight back. They need to be proactive and complaining to school boards, school district officials, and local representatives, and persisting until these injustices are eradicated.
Saratoga County high school setting aside classrooms for Muslim prayer

Story continues below advertisementCLIFTON PARK, NY (WRGB) – The largest school district in Saratoga County says it will allow Muslim students to pray in rooms in at its’ high school.
The Shenendehowa High School Principal says classrooms are being set aside so Muslim students can pray during Ramadan.
Since then, we’ve heard from parents who are against the move.
One parent sent us a letter explaining her concerns saying:
“Since prayer for other religions was removed from school years ago, I feel as Shen has crossed the line on allowing this on campus.”
Some folks we talked to in Clifton Park agreed, like David Chapleau.
“You just can’t bring religion into a public institution where were really trying to teach kids to the idea of opening their critical faculties,” Chapleau said.
The woman’s outcry is in response to an email from the Shenendehowa High School Principal to students and parents. It addresses the month of Ramadan, a time of fasting and prayer for Muslims. It says, in part:
“Prayer occurs on a daily basis for practicing Muslims. This can be challenging in today’s modern public high school. In an attempt to make reasonable accommodations for students and employees to meet their personal religious obligations, room 65 in High School West and room 109 in High School East have been set aside so students can incorporate this important aspect of their religion into their daily activities while at school.”
The letter explains two classrooms will be set aside for students to meet their religious obligations during school hours.
A school spokesperson says the decision was made after the high school principal met with the leader of a local mosque in an attempt to improve the school’s cultural proficiency. She says the school can’t refuse a student’s request to leave class for required prayer, and says the space allows Muslim students to return to class quickly after praying.
The school spokesperson says the school would honor a request like this for any religion.
Clifton Park resident Kevin Lynch said he doesn’t have an issue with the school’s decision.
“If that’s what they’re asking for and they’re allowed to have it I don’t see a problem with that,” Lynch said.
We went to our legal analyst Paul DerOhannesian and asked about the legal implications of prayer in schools.
He says the Supreme Court has ruled on it, and says it doesn’t appear the school has broken any laws.
“There have been cases before where the Supreme Court has said that a school should make its facilities available to all groups including religious groups, if it makes it available to others for certain activities, for example the Boy Scouts,” DerOhannesian said.
DerOhannesian says schools can make facilities available as long as they offer equal access, and don’t promote a religion or require students be involved in a religious activity or practice.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. From Saturday, May 27 through Saturday, June 24, 2017, Muslims around the world spend the daylight hours in a complete fast. In addition to fasting, prayer occurs on a daily basis for practicing Muslims. This can be challenging in today’s modern public high school.
In an attempt to make reasonable accommodations for students and employees to meet their personal religious obligations, room 65 in High School West and room 109 in High School East have been set aside so students can incorporate this important aspect of their religion into their daily activities while at school.
Please note that this is voluntary and student-initiated. Involvement of school employees is a non-participatory capacity. The allowance of this does not materially and substantially interfere with the orderly conduct of educational activities within the school.

BTW- that is pure BS on accomodation of any religion. In my life, I have watched school after school deny organizations like the Boy Scouts or YMCA, or CYO access to public schools facilities. Please someone set up a huge Christian prayer room and pray against Islam- see how long that lasts? BTW-Best Buy in Minneapolis has fired people for having Christian screen savers and the wearing of crosses while allowing Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists special access and religious dress.

Where is the nearest mosque at ? According to Muslim scholars the prayers must be done at the mosque or the prayer is no good. So praying at the school is just part of stealth jihad. I think we’re all now familiar with this pattern. It’s going to continue people. Public schools have been a dropping stone for a long time now and Islam is only one of many problems it has. Anyone who cares one iota about their child should homeschool or find a good private school that doesn’t do this pandering bullshit.

Why should American taxpayers have to pay to send their children to private schools? I think it should be the other way around. Muslims should home school or private school if the curriculum does not fit the schedule every other student is required to follow. Another thing is most classrooms are over crowded already & now they have to clear out rooms for Muslim prayer? That means the students that had been being taught in those rooms are split into the already crowded classes. They want to take all things American away such as flags & the Pledge etc such as to not offend however, this is ok? Someone explain please. Next they will want special tutors for what the praying Muslims missed while they were out of class. We give an inch & guess what? They see us as soft & easy & they will just keep wanting more & more until they have taken over the schools. I cannot believe what’s happening to our world. I agree with you 100% but unfortunately liberals took over the entire education system from preschool through university years ago. I would bet that better than 98% of teachers and professors are liberal. Same for back end Administrative staff.
We aren’t going to win on every single front. It’s a difficult enough and long enough and costly enough process to completely fire one teacher, let alone essentially all of them.
I just don’t see that as a battle that we can win. Let the libtards have their ridiculous leftists institutions. Once the intellectuals flee all the rape and Islamifying those places will quickly crumble.
Islam was only one of many issues. Even if you somehow managed to get Islam totally removed from classrooms, we’re just back to the many other issues with a ridiculously liberal curriculum, ever increasing attempts for the school to become a defacto parent (such as forced immunizations), mandatory sex ed and less and less actual academics. For god’s sake this happened in March:
The Board of Regents on Monday eliminated a requirement that aspiring teachers in New York State pass a literacy test to become certified after the test proved controversial because black and Hispanic candidates passed it at significantly lower rates than white candidates.
Islam is only the tip of the iceberg of absolute nonsense in public schools.

So, the principal has one meeting with a ‘leader from a local mosque’ and voila! Free prayer space for the poor muslim students. Very shocking that the principal did not order the entire student body to stop what they are doing at prayer time and form a deferential gauntlet to allow the muslim students to go to prayer rooms safely. For a Muslim, insult is not necessarily saying something untrue about Islam, but to say a reality which a Muslim doesn’t like to hear about his religion, or he does not want it to be known about his religion. muslims cannot handle the truth, which is why they will accuse someone of blasphemy then murder them for telling the truth.

The statement of the separation of church and state are enshrined in the US and the Canadian Constitution for a reason. The solution is easy. In order to remind the school why separation of church and state exists, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddists,
Rastafarians, Mormons, Jehova Winesses and all other religions in the school district need to demand (or even litigate) for accomodations and equal prayer time during school hours for each of their belief systems. The school district certainly cannot select and favor one religion while discriminating agsinst others.

Aside from all the obvious objections, there is another more subtle reason not to permit this. This should not be permitted because the student Muslim community within the school will coerce all Muslim students to attend prayers, whether they want to or not. Any Muslim student trying to slip away from the religion will be subjected to peer pressure from the others to attend prayers. The more pious students will bully the the more liberal minded, because Islam is not a meritocracy. Muslims are ranked by the size of the callous on their forehead rather than on their humility and capacity to love as in Christianity. There will be no escaping the cruel god allah.

There should also be a room set aside then for Christian prayer. The school if it’s a public school is paid for through tax payers dollars..to include the salaries of principals.superintendants,and teachers. They work for the taxpayers. If you allow one religion to have prayer time with a designated space than that should also apply for other religions. In a Muslim nation there would be no place for Christian prayer..or mention of it.
