A Geller Report reader sent an email to Senator Christopher Coons (D-Delaware) asking him to support S.68, the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2017. This is the idiotic response he sent to the reader.
“Although some members of the Muslim Brotherhood have been tied to acts of terrorism, the majority of its groups reject the use of violence and some have agreed to participate peacefully in the governments of some of our North African and Middle Eastern allies.” But to what end? To work to undermine free governments and impose sharia. That’s the same goal that the terrorists have. The Muslim Brotherhood when it is peaceful is not tolerant, secular or pluralistic; it’s just working toward its goal by different means.

“As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, I am concerned that this bill would do more harm than good. It would likely alienate us from some of the countries with which we seek to partner in the fight against terrorism.” If they can be alienated by this, how reliable are they as allies? How much can the U.S. really depend upon them?

Thank you for contacting me about S.68, the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2017. I appreciate your taking the time to contact me about this important issue.
The Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act was introduced by Senator Ted Cruz in January 2017. This bill urges the Secretary of State, Attorney General, and Secretary of the Treasury to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization. It also requires the Secretary of State, in consultation with the intelligence community, to submit a report to Congress on whether the Muslim Brotherhood meets the criteria for designation as a foreign terrorist organization.
The Muslim Brotherhood is a religious and political group that was founded in Egypt in 1928 and supports strict adherence to the rules of the Quran. Since its founding, the group has splintered into a variety of sub-groups with different goals and objectives. Although some members of the Muslim Brotherhood have been tied to acts of terrorism, the majority of its groups reject the use of violence and some have agreed to participate peacefully in the governments of some of our North African and Middle Eastern allies. As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, I am concerned that this bill would do more harm than good. It would likely alienate us from some of the countries with which we seek to partner in the fight against terrorism. Experts from both sides of the political aisle, including members of the intelligence community, have said that there is no basis for designating the Muslim Brotherhood. I will continue to study this issue closely in the Foreign Relations Committee. Should this bill come up for a vote in the full Senate, I will be sure to keep your views in mind.

One who studies history will recall that declaring Nazi government along with cohorts of SA and SS as criminal organizations by the Nuremberg Trial of War Criminals in 1946 didn’t do “more harm than good” as this asshole Dem. “senator” would suggest. The 2nd Amendment is about CREATING A MILITIA necessary for the security of a free State in which your government is suppose to honor and form one in every State.
It is NOT about conceal carry sh it. That was guaranteed by the Declaration of Independence.
In short, personal self-defense is none of government business, but creating a MILITIA is, arming them and to be well-regulated.
Yet, your government is not doing one and interfering with the other. It is to their benefit that you know nothing about the Constitution.
If you did, you would realize paying many taxes is illegal, and validating the phony federal reserve by accepting it’s phony currency.

“Who are the militia” ? The People . Who has the Right to bear arms ? The People .
The Bill of Rights tends to be rights that preceded the creation of a government .
If the government wants to field a militia , the care and keeping of it is the government’s obligation .
Before, during or after , we can bear arms . Nothing to do with militias , other than to (maybe) provide warm bodies . If the Gummit asks nicely , as conscription is slavery .

The 2nd Amendment does not mention “conscription”.
Your neighbors cannot be the militia. A couple of guys shooting squirrels on the weekend is not “well-regulated.
It is NOT helpful you are putting people in who are actually anti-constitutional and liars.
Otherwise, it is command from the President down, if not the States take precedence, with your governor as being in command and so on down the line.
Till maybe we end up with Jimmy Boy who owns a Glock and a .22 lying around somewhere.
But there is no militia at the moment – ANYWHERE. How are we to keep the security of a “free State”?

How ironic that the Muslim Brotherhood actually self-describes itself as a foreign enemy of America and presents a clear and present danger to our national security and future of our nation by the very nature of its publicly stated mission which proclaims the following:
“The process of settlement is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process’ with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ’sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”
S.68, the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2017, is needed to officially identify and prevent the Muslim Brotherhood and related organizations from continuing their Civilization Jihad that seeks to destroy America from within; just like what is happening in Europe and the Netherlands.
Time for American citizens to petition Washington and urge the unanimous passage of S.68. Petition soon coming.
