Hungary Takes EU To Court Over Migrant Demands

Story continues below advertisementHungary and Slovakia addressed the European Court of Justice Wednesday in a joint case against the European Union’s refugee distribution scheme.
The EU Council has moved to distribute hundreds of thousands of refugees across Europe to lighten the burden on Italy and Greece. The Hungarian government has opposed the move from the start and proposes a new mechanism to mass deport migrants instead.
“We have complied a ten-point list of reasons we believe this decision to be illegal,” Hungary’s Justice Minister Laszlo Trocsanyi told German newspaper Die Welt. “The decision to assign quotas also sends the wrong signal to potential migrants.”
Trocsanyi said the current message from the EU is “Go ahead and come to Europe, we will handle the distribution.”
So far, less than 18 percent of the 100,000 migrants have been relocated under the quota system. A ruling in the case is expected this fall and Trocsanyi said Hungary will accept the outcome.
“Hungary abides by the law and fulfils its duties,” he told Die Welt.
Zoltan Kovacs, a spokesman for the Hungarian government, told The Daily Caller News Foundation that Hungary’s disputes with the EU is rooted in the country’s refusal to give up elements of sovereignty.
“We would like to retain the elements of sovereignty, which are there by law, and we are against a stealth way of taking away elements of your sovereignty,” Kovacs told TheDCNF in a recent interview.
Hungary argues the “four freedoms” of the EU project — the free movement of goods, capital, services and people — can only be ensured if the outer borders are protected.
“You can not defend the achievements of Schengen from within. It has be done at the borders,” Kovacs said.

Today hungary has these brilliant politicians, but tomorrow………..? Who is to guarantee that merely refusing muslims today, guarantees eternal success? If tomorrow, some leftists get elected, they will simply change the ruling, and voila – Muslims win.
The thing is, under the current set up – We have to be lucky every time. Muslims have to be lucky, just once
In order to guarantee eternal success against muslims, a change in mentality is required.

– Our tolerance is flawed because it is blind tolerance. We have to tolerate even those who hate us.
– Our no-discrimination policy is flawed because it has no room for exception – We can not discriminate against even those who wish to physically attack us, are attempting to subvert us, and openly declare their desire to harm us
– Our equality and equal rights mentality is also flawed because both the bad and the good are accorded the same privileges, which aids the bad and violates the principle of justice.
If there exists a solution, it begins with us acknowledging that our mentality is flawed. And after acknowledging it, we must change it.

I see your point about our mindset.
Once we ‘tolerate’ evil things like terrorist attacks or mass-rapes or child marriage or FGM, then it isn’t even tolerance anymore….just plain accessory to crime. A rapist or attacker’s accomplice.
We care about real refugees, but this unsafe migration is proven to be not working. We have to secure our borders, get better vetting systems, and IMO, reinstate the 6-country travel ban. (Really is isn’t even a ban, more like a pause while we make sure our systems don’t have loopholes!)

Foolish move, the european union will pressure the judges that they do not own into making an arbitrary decision in favour of forcing Hungary and Slovakia to become vassal states if islam. Never should a country allow its sovereignty to be decided by anyone other than itself. You’ll be sorry…

Hungary SAYS it will abide by the court’s decision. I hope those are just words. If/when the prostitutes in dirty black robes decide in favor of the EU gangsters, Hungary should find a new reason not to comply, then a new reason, etc… and NEVER COMPLY WITH THE GLOBALIST GANGSTERS. Claiming they are being abused, have no where else to run to

As the recent Brexit referendum and the murder and mayhem in France and Germany clearly indicate, the various members of the EU have grown restive of the situation where their immigration policies are dictated from Brussels. Expect more defections, but more chaos in the meantime. Trump said it best, “If you don’t have a border, you don’t have a country.”
