According to the 2000 census, 94.6% of the country’s population self-identified as Buddhist and Muslims comprise 4.9% of the population.

Here again, anywhere Muslims immigrate, eventually but always, conflict gives way to war. Show me one country or region where this is not the case. What are the Muslims killing for? An Islamic state, of course. Where aren’t they killing for an Islamic state?

Unknown dead and injured yet, but some reports place the injured as high as 100.

People forget that “injured” in these bombings often means blind, limbs ripped off and faces destroyed.

The religion of peace once again peacefully lets Thai Buddhists and tourists know that they should submit to Islam.

Thailand bombing: Pattani rocked by twin explosions – many injured

TWIN explosions have rocked the town of Pattani in Thailand – a hotspot for western tourists.

Early reports suggest the blasts happened inside a large department store.Others have suggested the incident was sparked by a car bomb parked outside the shop.

Images have emerged of dozens nursing bloody head wounds outside the store which is completely destroyed.

At least 20 people have been injured at the Big-C supermarket, a military spokesman said.

A bomb blast has injured multiple people in Pattani, Thailand

Pramote Prom-in, a spokesman for the Thai military in the area, said a suspected car bomb had exploded at the entrance of the Big-C supermarket in Pattani.He said: “The explosion wounded about 20 people.”No deaths had been reported, he said.The attack is believed to be another act of violence by by Muslim separatists in the south of the predominantly Buddhist country.A decades-old separatist insurgency in the largely ethnic Malay Muslim provinces of Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat has killed more than 6,500 people since 2004, according to independent monitoring group Deep South Watch.

Three people were shot dead.

We need better vetting systems and better border/airport security to help prevent this from happening here. I don’t like Trump much, but his 6-country-travel ban makes sense to me. Especially when I look at Europe.

All those people in Thailand…I hope their government figures out a way to protect them better. I'[d heard 40 people died in that twin attack.
We need to keep putting pressure on our own government to save lives here. Petitions, boycotts, communicating with representatives, raising awareness are all good ideas.

How is vetting going to ensure some random tolerant muslim isn’t one day going to visit the wrong place & become activated? Until a way to detect radical muslin nuts is found, I’m afraid the only guaranteed solution is to put them all down, much like the ‘mad dogs’ they resemble

This is the story of the situation between muslims and non-muslims, in a nutshell –

Mahmud of ghazni was a muslim ruler. He made 17, yes that is right – 17 bloody invasions into india, murdering, plundering and enslaving indians and eventually took over. You would think that after the 5th, 10th or even the 15th time, indians would have had the common sense to realize that this muslim would never stop, and the only solution is to do to him, what he is doing to them. But no – Indians did not have common sense to realize this. And so today, history books read of his success.

This story illustrates precisely, the situation between muslims and non-muslim today. Here is how – When islam started 1400 years ago, muslims had no country. Today, muslims have 50 countries. This means on average, muslims take over 1 non-muslim country every 28 years. Even as you are reading this, muslims are trying to take over non-muslim lands, all over the world. For instance – Muslims are, right now, trying to take over india’s kashmir, china’s xinjiang, burma’s rakhine state, philippines’s mindanao, thailand’s south thailand, and many more.

You would think that by the time muslims took over 20th, 30th, or even the 50th non-muslim country, non-muslims would have had the common sense to realize that muslims will never stop, until they take over all of it, and so the only solution is to do to muslims, what they are doing to non-muslims. But no – Non-muslims do not have the common sense to realize this. And thus, in the distant future, history books would read of muslims as the victors and non-muslims as the losers.

Been following Thai news since some relatives travel there a lot. The problems seem to be in the Muslim areas in the south, the rest of the country (Buddhist) seems to be OK.
