Marine Le Pen: I’m Best Equipped to Face ‘New World’ of Donald Trump

Marine Le Pen, France’s right-leaning presidential candidate, said she’s the best chance for her country to be able to deal with the emerging new world — the one that’s being led by the likes of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Marine Le Pen said she’s best positioned to deal with President Donald Trump, because of all the France candidates for president, she is most in line with his views.

She said her views are much more aligned with Trump’s — and with other world leaders — than with Angela Merkel’s, and for that reason, she would be the strong voice on the international stage that France needs to compete and survive in this more populist, free-market world.

Story continues below advertisement

From the Express:

“Le Pen said that she would be the best leader to defend France’s interests against the tough world leaders.

“In an interview, she said: ‘I think I’m best placed to talk to this new world that’s emerging, to talk to the Russia of Putin, to the United States of Trump, to talk to the Britain of Theresa May, to talk to the India of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. …

“‘All of those countries are more or less turning their backs not the ideology of free trade, or competition, and of undermining social protection.

“‘So I feel much more in line with their political philosophy than with Angela Merkel’s.’

“This comes as Ms Le Pen’s father, Jean-Marie Le Pen, criticised his daughter’s campaign claiming that he would have campaigned more like Mr Trump.

“Similar to President Trump, Ms Le Pen is the outsider, a nationalist and anti-establishment.

“When Ms Le Pen was asked about the hurdles Mr Trump faced in his first 100 days in office, she said: ‘It shows the establishment exists and is trying to fight against the democratic result of the people.

“‘You can see that a part of the system is uniting to stop Donald Trump from putting in place the measures which were chosen by the people.'”

Trump, for his part, hasn’t officially endorsed Le Pen for the presidency. But he has hinted a bit that she’d be his preferred candidate, remarking on Twitter after the recent terror attack in the country that the people of France were tired of being left vulnerable and that the attack would “have a big effect on [the] presidential election.”

For France and for French Women especially, there really is only one choice.

Look at their collapsing tourism industry …look at the disarray of their streets. Look at the now habitual rioting in the ‘burbs and the open contempt and hostility that these groups display towards the police.

The ports with their filthy migrant camps look like something from a dystopian sci-fi novel.
And then there is the incessant low level Jihad – punctuated by sporadic explosions and murders.

What a mess …and then there is the demographics – French people are dying out – no children… and they are being replaced by ‘migrants’ with vastly higher birth rates.

By mid century the initiative will be with Islam in France – the secular state and Christendom a distant memory – consigned to the scrap heap of history as an old idea that has simply been ‘superceded’.

Excellent comment. I pray Le Pen wins their election.
What little I’ve seen of Europe, I wish I’d had the itinerary to visit Frahncee’. I know I’d have loved it! I love what I saw in Europe!
I’d really like to visit Russia now…. St Petersburg and actually the Russian plains….just to see the unlimited vastness of the Bear.
Anyway, Viva la Le Pen!

I second that! I hope the same thing happens in France that happened in the US with the candidate that no one thought could win is the next President of France and that’s Le Pen!

france is free falling into oblivion. If the average french person thinks one person can save france, while the population does nothing, they are delusional, even for being french. If france does not unite in an effort to rectify its situation, it will be done in months.

I wonder how many Fwench police collaborated willingly w/the nazis? To be fair, after the war, Fwance held mass executions for nazi collaborators.

France is Definitely a weak sister & will need our help(which we seem to love to do), & it would be good to have a pro West leader who will Let us save her. & not let the locus spread.

Le Pen is dead on correct in her assessment. While everyone says Trump will never change Washington, they are dead wrong. Instead, he has changed everyone’s expectations of Washington which makes it open season on the whole damn gaggle of career political incumbents.

You are right. Trump’s definitely got the liblamics, femlabmics, muslamics, blacklamics and the bureaucrat apologetics and self promoters – including many many politicians plus the leftist media, holy wood, and the entire world for that matter – in various stages of disarray and most of it for good reason. He’s doing the job with this administration despite the flak from all sides and even from many in his own party.

Someone needs to clean up the Muslim problem in France. Well, to be accurate, all of Europe that opened their countries to these murderers and rapists.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Hopefully, when is elected she will join forces with Poland and Hungary and anyone else that wants to kick the muslamics out.

If the Muslims in France had just kept a lower profile starting six months ago, Marine Le Pen wouldn’t have a chance of being elected Prime Minister. But, of course, Muslims are just not that smart!

Unfortunately, that is the only way that any good can come from the terrorism. When she is elected I am going to be so happy to see france kick some ass. Their history and culture is much more rich than anything the muslamics could ever produce.

I sincerely hope that Marine Le Pen is the next Prime Minister of France. However, history has shown that the French have very often made bad choices politically. I hope its different this time.

I’m very much afraid she won’t win the election, and if by a long shot, she will be shut out anyhow, since all the other parties have said they won’t work with her. This is what has happened to Geert Wilders. In spite of the fact he came in second, all the other parties have put up a wall around him and there is nothing he can do about it. Then I think it’s all over for France. France is now an ex-country.

Her only drawback so far is that she has declared, falsely, that France was not complicit in the rounding up of Jews and enthusiastically handing them over to the Nazis. It was.
