I first reported on this horror when it happened in 2013. A devout Muslim attempted to behead a firefighter as he furiously stabbed his head at a cafe in Canada. Nabil Huruy had been ululating about Allah. Law enforcement officials and most obviously this judge are befuddled by the motive, because to assign any religious motivation to this Islamic ritual would be “Islamophobic” and “racist” (even though Islam is not a race). They would sooner set this savage free then blame Islam. That is submission of a conquered people.
It was early morning on the anniversary of 9/11 on September 11, 2013 when Toronto Police Constable Alexi Prodanos, working the midnight shift, got a call at 6:00 a.m. about………

Later, at the preliminary hearing on a first-degree murder charge, Const. Prodanos would testify that when he detained Huruy, the young man started “talking about Allah, etc.” …. more here.
Police called it a “completely random act of violence.” It’s not random if you don’t scrub Islamic text and teachings from the motive. It’s not random if your target was to behead a kaffir.
It’s unclear how many times the victim was stabbed in the head, but his most serious injury was a knife wound that went through the back of his head and through his brain.
Nabil Huruy was armed with two knives. He did not believe his acts “morally wrong” because sharia (Islamic law) supersedes all manmade law. Hakimiyyah – the principle of Allah’s exclusive power and right to govern, legislate, and pass judgement.
What were the imams at Nabil Huruy’s preaching and teaching. Huruy was an active member. He was found with clothes from the mosque when apprehended.

Nabil Huruy was delusional, a judge has ruled in a verdict he acknowledges will be “of little comfort” to the family of Dominic Parker who died “for no reason, other than he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
A Toronto man has been found not criminally responsible due to a mental disorder for the unprovoked killing of an off-duty firefighter at a Danforth Ave. café in 2013.
Nabil Huruy, 26, had been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Dominic Parker, a 45-year-old father of two daughters.
The court heard that Huruy and the victim did not know each other, but that Huruy repeatedly stabbed Parker after he sat down next to him at the Rotana café.
Huruy then fled in a taxi.
He wasn’t so “crazy” as to not know to flee.
Superior Court Justice Ian Nordheimer made it clear in his Dec. 10 in ruling that Parker had not provoked Huruy.
In his ruling finding Huruy not criminally responsible, Nordheimer said experts concluded that the accused did not know that his actions were morally wrong, and he probably suffers from schizophrenia.
Huruy had previously made statements about people and the government being after him, Nordheimer wrote.
Sounds like Nabil is blaming Western governments and Islamophobia. The default position of jihadis and leftists.

“Mr. Huruy was paranoid, had armed himself with two knives and was the subject of delusions, including hearing voices,” the judge wrote. “He believed there were people, apparently on behalf of the government, who were intent on causing him harm, if not death.”
Given the verdict, Huruy will now fall under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Review Board which will decide in which mental health institution Huruy will be kept in custody.Parker’s widow, Zilla, said in a statement posted to Facebook that she doesn’t know whether justice has been done with last week’s verdict.
What she does know, she said, is that this case highlights the need for more understanding of mental health issues and more resources.
“We need more funding in our healthcare system, more funding for research, more education and awareness,” she said.
“There is obviously a huge need for improvement on our current system. This is the conversation I believe we should be having. Maybe we can prevent this tragedy from happening to another family.”
Huruy’s behaviour was abnormal just days before the incident, Nordheimer wrote in his ruling. He was found on the roof of a school with bags of clothing he had taken from a mosque. He told police he had been on the roof playing soccer. Police gave him a trespass notice.
That same day, he was standing on an overpass above Highway 401, with a large ring around his neck. He told police the ring was part of him, wrote Nordheimer, and said he had a special attraction to the highway because it was called the Highway of Heroes.
The president of the Markham Professional Firefighters Association told the Star that Parker’s death was a loss to the entire department.
“He truly was a wonderful guy,” said Jeremy Acton. “He had no enemies. He was living the dream and loved everything he was doing.”
The judge acknowledged at the end of his ruling that the verdict will bring little comfort to Parker’s family.
“Here the family and friends of Dominic Parker are left to know that they lost their loved one for no reason, other than he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time,” Nordheimer wrote.
“It is a fate that could have befallen any other person who was in that café at that time, or, indeed, it could have befallen any other person who happened to encounter Mr. Huruy, while he was in his delusional state, and thus become a perceived threat to him.
“That reality will be of little comfort to the family and friends of Dominic Parker, but it is the reality that we currently live under when severe mental illness is not diagnosed and treated before such a tragedy strikes.”

Surprising to see that Muslims in Canada can obtain a firearms license without providing a photograph. They need a declaration from their religious organization or group stating that they are exempt from sending a photograph. They receive a valid license with blank space.

To be able to withstand an attack by a maniac, you have to be able to react instantly, correctly, forcefully, effectively and willfully. thanks for serving in Vietnam, Drew — and that ‘thanks’ vastly understates my gratitude. I picked guns back up after 9-11. My two daughters both have guns I’ve given them; they know how to shoot. One daughter has a concealed carry permit, the other doesn’t. Reminds me to encourage my other to get that permit, and carry. And to remind my other daughter to actually carry. You see this stuff happening anywhere, anytime. We’re naive if we think it can’t happen in OUR coffee shop, at our grocery store, at our intersection where we happen to be stopped.

HOLD UP! If Dominic Parker did not instigate an altercation against Nabil Huruy or otherwise threaten Huruy’s life (or that of an innocent third party), that eliminates self-defense (or defense of an innocent third party) as a mitigating factor, and that should be case closed, Huruy is guilty of murder…the only question is what level of murder. The judge should be disciplined by the Law Society of Upper Canada (the bar association for the province of Ontario).

This is sickening. Canada does not need more funding for research and treatment concerning the sources of these criminal delusions. The cause is stated over and over in the Koran, and in the teaching of many mosques and madrassas. The cure is in the Bible. Approximately 1/3 of the ministry of Jesus was in casting demons out of people. This always resulted in a cure that was manifested wither physically, mentally, or both. These disembodied spirits are still operating today. They need a physical body from which to act out their own lusts. Sinful thoughts, beliefs, and/or actions throw the door wide open to the works of Satan. And all Western governments shut the door on the one thing, other than a bullet, that could change these demon possessed people. Secular research will never heal this problem.
