President Trump’s most inspired pick Steve Bannon loses National Security Council role in Trump shakeup

Chief strategist Steve Bannon was President Trump’s most inspired and best pick. If anyone had any doubt as to Trump’s depth of understanding of the problems we face from jihad terrorists and left-wing radicals, Bannon assuaged those concerns.

So this is not good. Bannon was the one person in the Trump administration whom those fighting in defense of freedom were counting on. The trimmers and the Islamic apologists are winning. Trump is repeating the same mistakes that Bush made. He, too, had warring factions in his administration — Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bolton versus Powell, Rice, Burns and Hadley. The trimmers almost always win, because in any compromise between good and evil, evil wins.

This is a slippery slope, Mr. President — one you do not want to go down. Less Jared, Mattis and McMaster, Mr. President. More Bannon.

This move is coupled with this:

The decision to select Army Lieutenant General Herbert Raymond “H.R.” McMaster to replace retired Lieutenant General Michael Flynn as national security advisor is setting into motion a cascade of other personnel decisions that, far from draining the swamp, appear to be perpetuating it.

Trump has decided to retain Yael Lempert, a controversial NSC staffer from the Obama administration. Analyst Lee Smith reported that, according to a former official in the Clinton administration, Lempert “is considered one of the harshest critics of Israel on the foreign policy far left.”

Sahar Nowrouzzadeh, who served as the NSC’s Iran director during the Obama administration, is now in charge of policy planning for Iran and the Persian Gulf at the Trump State Department. Nowrouzzadeh, whose main task at Obama’s NSC was to help broker the Iran Nuclear Deal, is a former employee of the National Iranian-American Council (NIAC), a lobbying group widely believed to be a front group for the Islamic dictatorship in Iran.

“The people who are handling key elements of those conflicts now are the same people who handled those areas under Obama, despite the results of the last election. No wonder the results look equally awful.” — Lee Smith, Middle East analyst.

Bannon Loses National Security Council Role in Trump Shakeup

by Jennifer Jacobs, April 5, 2017:

President Donald Trump reorganized his National Security Council on Wednesday, removing his chief strategist, Stephen Bannon, and downgrading the role of his Homeland Security Adviser, Tom Bossert, according to a person familiar with the decision and a regulatory filing.

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster was given responsibility for setting the agenda for meetings of the NSC or the Homeland Security Council, and was authorized to delegate that authority to Bossert, at his discretion, according to the filing.

Under the move, the national intelligence director, Dan Coats, and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine Corps General Joseph Dunford, are again “regular attendees” of the NSC’s principals committee.

Bannon, the former executive chairman of Breitbart News, was elevated to the National Security Council’s principals committee at the beginning of Trump’s presidency. The move drew criticism from some members of Congress and Washington’s foreign policy establishment.

A White House official said that Bannon was placed on the committee in part to monitor Trump’s first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, and never attended a meeting. He’s no longer needed with McMaster in charge of the council, the official said.

Trump fired Flynn on Feb. 13 for not disclosing to the president or to Vice President Mike Pence the extent of his conversations with Russia’s ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak, before Trump’s inauguration.

I respect Bannon’s contributions to this administration more than most others. Hopefully this is not a move to isolate him.

UNFORTUNATELY…it IS! He’s PROBABLY on his way out…too OBVIOUSLY too much of an ideologue, “FREEDOM, LIBERTY, AND RIGHTS” man! Today, the dictum is: “GOVERNMENT; LAWS; & CONTROL”!

The fact is, Trump is permitting it and now my enthusiasm for him is waning. As Pamela said, Mattis, McMaster, and other Islam-ignorant asses. So what is Trump now going to do over Syria, side with al Qaeda, the ‘rebels’ – John McCain’s buddies – who are really either al Qaeda and ISIS? Ten of thousands of Christians, Yazidis and others murdered in Iraq and Syria, concerning which Obama did virtually nothing and now a gas attack in Syria was somehow worse then the Iraq and Syria scenarios? This just stupid. All kinds of minorities lived safely under Assad. They’d be murdered by al Qaeda and ISIS, but watch America now support the wrong side. Bravo! How brilliant!

While I agree with you 110%, there’s one exception I’d make…NEITHER McMasters NOR Mattis are “Muslim Ignorant”, BUT they ARE “compromised”!

ANY MILITARY OFFICER who’s been “IN THEATER” over in the “SAND BOX”, KNOWS damned well that the “ISLAMISTS” are ACTUALLY the WHOLE HEARTED Muslims; while the VAST MAJORITY are simply “going through the motions”, (like MOST Christians do today)!

Al Queda, and ISIS are the “12 Disciples” of the Muslim World, AND, the SO CALLED “MODERATES” are the financiers! BUT! They ALL BELIEVE the QU’ran, Hadith, & Sunnas! Just as MOST Jews today are followers of the Talmuds, and the Mishna; RATHER than the PENTATEUCH and TORAH!

The MAJOR difference between the 3 “GREAT FAITHS” IS the DOCTRINE of BOTH Hebrew TORAH, and Christian New Testament IS THE “GOLDEN RULE” & the 13th Chapter of 1st. Corinthians…”The GREATEST of these is LOVE”!

Whereas, the QU’ran DOES NOT PREACH LOVE of ANY one, but Muslims! Ultimately, their PRINCIPLES are, “EITHER make DHIMMIS” of non-believers, and tax them, OR (more advisable), KILL the INFIDEL! BOTH Mattis and McMasters KNOW THIS!

Thanks for this, Christian. In my blunt South African manner I’m not able to pretend I believe thing that I don’t, so if Mattis and McMaster know the truth about Islam, how I wish they’d be honest enough to speak the truth. Your comment about Christians, too, was spot on. Rebellious against nonsense and independent of spirit from young, I am for some peculiar reason in religious matters conservative and cannot be bothered with much of the mush nowadays heard in churches, plus the empty things that now pass for hymns, or whatever the heck they are. Why these shallow Christians of whom you mentioned think they can fool Almighty God is testament to their shallowness of faith.

“Donald Trump says he has changed his position on Bashar al-Assad and Syria after chemical weapons attack and has ‘responsibility’ to act.”

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/04/05/donald-trump-says-has-changed-position-bashar-al-assad-syria/

Put this together with UN ambassador Haley’s theatrics with bloody photos of children and there is a clear suggestion that Trump will attack and bring down Assad. This is what the Uniparty/RINOs/Globalists have been wanting all along. More refugees for Europe, and a Libya-style failed state for the rebels to take over.

wHY SHOULD OUR military get heavily involved in syria ? this is just another ploy to get america bugged down with never ending middle east crises and creating more refugees .have we not learned our lesson in iraq, egypt ,libya and even iran . no matter who we support we will still be an enemy to islam .what strategic importance does syria bring to the table ?. every military adventure in the middle east has been a disaster because of islamic ideology which sees the non muslims as the eternal enemy . majority of sunnis want a theocracy not a democracy . what assad has done is horrible but we do not need to intervene with more military . there are diplomatic ways to keep assad in check and place serious sanctions on him .

i for one do not support any overt military intervention or care to have americans lose their lives in the middle east . islam has been warring for 1400 yrs .the middle east govts and the united nations should deal with assad .
looks like republicans are up to their same old tricks ,any opportunity to get the elites richer always trumps the people’s will.

It’s difficult enough for the President to find a few ‘good’ men for his cabinet, out of a larger pool of vile traitors. Yet it’s the few ‘good’ ones he gets that are being lost. The NWO Deep State is out for blood.

I am not going to join the Megyn Kellys of the world with off-the-cuff criticism of Trump and his motives. Bannon’s original purpose at NSC was to act as a damper on security advisor Michael Flynn but that is no longer necessary so he is simply being reassigned to another role.

I lay this firing fiasco right at the feet of Priebus and the RNC elites brought to the White House. Add in the Obama holdovers and there is a huge failure of the Trump administration in the offing.

You, Mister President, are listening to the wrong people, sir! The ‘shake up’ caused the only ones who could go the farthest to insure a success to be let go.

Horrible move, sir!

He’s still there and can go to meetings as he sees fit. Its a good move actually as it takes steam from the destructionist party just like Nunes move. The aim was to divert from the actual substance by claiming partiality but the dems are continuing to be the architects of their own demise especially with rice being discovered and today is the icing on the cake with the nuclear option handed to the gop by reid.

The swamp cleaning needs to begin with Priebus, Ryan, McCain, and all RINOS and the obama groups that are still in positions to create problems. Bannon should not be removed from his job. I have read comments from people who are glad to see Bannon gone and I have no idea where they get that idea except it comes from the ones named in my comment.

Trump is listening to Ryan, who we cannot trust and Priebus who is advising what the RINOS are pushing and what the globalists want. I am anxious about what President Trump is doing and not a happy voter. I remember Trump’s words to drain the swamp which means politicians.
