The Los Angeles Times, showcasing just why the mainstream media is so hated by conservatives and even moderates in America, blasted a vicious editorial board piece against President Donald Trump, titled simply: “Our Dishonest President.”
What’s so remarkable about the attack is A) it comes in such early stages of Trump’s presidency it’s hard to make a case he’s even had time to be that “dishonest,” and B) it’s a dishonest piece in and of itself. Pure mainstream media hypocrisy.

Read the opener: “It was no secret during the campaign that Donald Trump was a narcissist and a demagogue who used fear and dishonesty to appeal to the worst in American voters.”
That’s like radical environmentalists who claim climate change is settled science — that simply declaring opinion as fact makes it fact.
The L.A. Times goes on:
“Still, nothing prepared us for the magnitude of this train wreck. Like millions of other Americans, we clung to a slim hope that the new president would turn out to be all noise and bluster, or that the people around him in the White House would act as a check on his worst instincts, or that he would be sobered and transformed by the awesome responsibilities of office.
“Instead, seventy-some days in — and with about 1,400 to go before his term is completed — it is increasingly clear that those hopes were misplaced.
“In a matter of weeks, President Trump has taken dozens of real-life steps that, if they are not reversed, will rip families apart, foul rivers and pollute the air, intensify the calamitous effects of climate change and profoundly weaken the system of American public education for all.
“His attempt to de-insure millions of people who had finally received healthcare coverage and, along the way, enact a massive transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich has been put on hold for the moment. But he is proceeding with his efforts to defang the government’s regulatory agencies and bloat the Pentagon’s budget even as he supposedly retreats from the global stage.
“These are immensely dangerous developments which threaten to weaken this country’s moral standing in the world, imperil the planet and reverse years of slow but steady gains by marginalized or impoverished Americans. But, chilling as they are, these radically wrongheaded policy choices are not, in fact, the most frightening aspect of the Trump presidency.
“What is most worrisome about Trump is Trump himself. He is a man so unpredictable, so reckless, so petulant, so full of blind self-regard, so untethered to reality that it is impossible to know where his presidency will lead or how much damage he will do to our nation. His obsession with his own fame, wealth and success, his determination to vanquish enemies real and imagined, his craving for adulation — these traits were, of course, at the very heart of his scorched-earth outsider campaign; indeed, some of them helped get him elected. But in a real presidency in which he wields unimaginable power, they are nothing short of disastrous.”
It goes on — and on.
But you get the idea.
The L.A. Times doesn’t just disagree with Trump on policy and politics. Its editorial board hates the guy. And wants to take him down, pure and simple.
“Although his policies are, for the most part, variations on classic Republican positions (many of which would have been undertaken by a President Ted Cruz or a President Marco Rubio), they become far more dangerous in the hands of this imprudent and erratic man.”
By hook or by crook — by fact or by character assassination — the mainstream and left-leaning media are intent on removing Trump, in disgrace if possible, from office.

“Attorney General Loretta Lynch quietly reinstituted the Department of Justice’s Equitable Sharing Program recently, which incentivizes local authorities to more harshly prosecute cases in order to take advantage of asset forfeiture laws, allowing these local departments to confiscate personal property they believe is related to criminal activity – including cars, boats and cash – without trial or any due process beyond even suspicion, and share those seizures with federal authorities.”

Dear Kim Jung Un,
It’s hard to find an acceptable shooting range for nukes in today’s PC world where everyone is a NIMBY. However, I have evaluated the entire surface of the planet and determined that Los Angeles, Ca would be a good target. Using LA as a target will, in fact, go quite a way toward Making America Great Again. In fact, most major US cities would qualify in this regard, but do consider LA as a potential target.

The left has run out of anything real to debate or discuss. The riots, turning over every rock looking for scandal, creating scandal when none could be found has all backfired terribly on them. All the Democrats and leftist Liberal Progressives have left is simple hate. All because Hillary lost. In all my 64 years I have never seen this kind of hatred towards a President simply because a candidate lost.

I finally got tired of waiting for disqus. Unhinged is how I would best describe it. I didn’t read the whole thing.
Do I have to? What I know is that prior to Obamacare my medical insurance was less than half of what it is
today. Also it snowed once again this year in New York just as it has as far back as records have been kept.
Also the shoreline along the Eastern Seaboard and the Pacific Coastline is almost exactly the same today as
it was 50 years ago if not further back. So where’s the global warming? As far as what was written in the
LA Times article it appears to be mostly just a difference of opinion as opposed to dishonesty. That’s all.

In 1991, at age 34, I had a major medical plan thru BCBS and it cost about $20 per month. It was awesome. Financial ruin insurance. That’s what I want today.

Young people do not buy newspapers as EVERYTHING they do is on their hand held devices. Unfortunately the new journalists tend to be young and left leaning and actually believe what they are reporting (making up) as news. Conservative mature people still start their days with coffee and the morning paper. These publications are shooting themselves in the foot and committing suicide as their market is dwindling. President Trump has pulled the end run on them with twitter as he can reach 100 of millions directly instantaneously. You would think that the editors would finally get a clue. Just like all of the supposedly “recent polls” saying Trump’s approval rating is the lowest of any new president. Well baloney on that as these are the same idiots who laughed at president Trump’s residential run and HE WON!. Same thing here as every person that I know that voted for Trump still has a very high and even greater opinion of him since November as he IS DOING exactly what he said he would do.
