With this appointment, we should see the Justice Department going against those who are actually violating others’ civil rights on a routine basis, such as Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP).

“Report: Husband of Kellyanne Conway to run the Justice Department’s civil division,” by Kelly Cohen, Washington Examiner, March 17, 2017 (thanks to Shirley):

Story continues below advertisement

The husband of senior White House counselor Kellyanne Conway is expected to be named the head of the Justice Department’s civil division.

According to the Wall Street Journal, George Conway will lead the division, which represents the federal government in the courts in legal battles.

Conway would be at the forefront of defending the Trump administration against lawsuits, such as those against his immigration executive order.

Conway is a partner at the firm Watchtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. He was previously considered for the post of solicitor general, which argues before the Supreme Court. However, Noel Francisco got that job.

A graduate of Yale Law School, Conway previously clerked for Judge Ralph Winter on the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals, according to his Watchtell Lipton biography….

Where did this woman come from and how did she become the face of this administration? More powerfully connected inside-the-beltway self-serving types looking out for their own interests before ours. She was attacking Trump the same way democrats did before she joined him. These people have no shame.

Look at some of the statements she made about Trump when she was working for the Cruz campaign. I don’t think she was as vicious as the democrats, we she said some pretty negative things.

There is much more of her like this on youtube.

Actually I would say his presumptive father was Muslim. He was definitely raised Muslim and demonstrably remained so through his college years. I’ve seen nothing that convinces me that he is no longer Muslim. Keep in mind he lies about everything.

The fact that he is an obsessive compulsive democrat… liar, would strongly imply he is and always has been a muslim.

‘These people’ are hired guns. “Hired guns” are very good things; I’m at a loss to understand why the term is used disparagingly. I’m a “hired gun”-‘hiring” is good, and God knows so are “guns”. It depends on how they’re used.

Kellyanne was/is a pollster. She threw in her lot with our President, who’s now her boss.

Now I agree with you that there’s a moral/patriotic motive missing here, and in DC in general. I have family in DC and I’ve been there a lot. The place is soulless.

I’m available for hire, but I won’t lend myself to a cause which, if I’m successful in advocating it, would result in something immoral. And I agree with you that no American should ever lend themselves to anything which would weaken our beloved country.

She spent the entire primary insulting Trump and supporting losers like Ted Cruz. Then suddenly she is Trump’s savior and the face of his administration. I just don’t see any core values or anything that she brings to the table to push Trump’s agenda forward. Capital Hill certainly wasn’t impressed.

I think that ‘reasonable minds can differ’ on this matter Mark.

Kellyanne is one of the ‘face[s] of [Pres. Trump’s] admin.’, but I never thought she was his ‘savior’, mainly because he didn’t need one. He did just fine being himself.

But if ‘Capitol Hill wasn’t impressed’, to me that’s a good thing! In line with draining the swamp.

lol isn’t that the truth bring on the billable hours.

Lets hope he is able to make a positive difference in the Justice Department after Obama’s unethical administration. Most lawyers only care about making a name for themselves and making lots of money. Maybe the husband of Kellyanne Conway will have some integrity whereas most lawyers are unscrupulous as we have seen with Obama’s appointed guns for hire.

o’bimbo only hired brigands, thieves and muslims that were compatible with himself. Plus they had to be stupider than he is, which put a cap of 65 on their iq’s.

There are two ways to be the smartest guy in the room. One is to think and study. The other is to fill the room with the bottom of the barrel. The best leaders don’t worry about crap like that however and fill the room with the best and the brightest they can find. Just take a look at Imbecile’s appointments and Trump’s and you can tell who wants to get the job done and who wants to masturbate his gigantic unearned ego in public.

True leaders always know to hire the best available for what they require, thereby surrounding themselves with intelligent persons who are seen as intelligent, making their leader look even smarter. An imbecile like o’bimbo is insecure, relatively stupid, vain and incompetent. He craves adulation of sycophants and toadies for his ego, the results of his stupidity are irrelevant as he keeps addling to the pile.

Kellyanne Conway’s husband looks like a nice lawyer but for his health and life and his childrens future he needs to address his weight. He is seriously overweight and he needs to do something about his weight.

Agreed. My Mom always said the best exercise for losing weight was to place both hands on the edge of the dinner table and push away.

Will the US stop forcing hijabs on American business? Will the US stop forcing mosques on communities that do not want them? I hope so.

Someone is selling the ground to muslims so that they can build these mosques. Maybe that is what needs to be looked into.

I love anything KellyAnne says or does…. she is a brilliant woman and behind every brilliant woman must be a brilliant man/husband. I am sure Mr. Conway will do an impeccable job almost as good if not better than the GREAT KellyAnne Conway. Such a beautiful photo of a lovely and hardworking family. God bless this family for all they have sacrificed to help save our country from ruins at the hands of evil demoncrats!

I totally agree with you. Michael Savage hates her for some reason – he calls her a “barfly”, he attacks her for her nails and her clothes. He accuses her of using her children as props. It’s sickening and I don’t get it. Why are we attacking our own?

Yes, I like her too, but I have no idea who spends any time with all of her 4 quite young children.

Until I heard this I thought maybe her husband worked from home, but apparently not.

Kelly Anne’s mother lives with them and helps with their children. Nothing like Grandma love and care.

Couples who have children should put them first. It’s nice that ‘Grandma’ is there, but that’s a stopgap measure.

What there’s really ‘nothing like’ is a mother, in the home, making that her first priority. That’s why God entrusted creation to us: To raise our children. He didn’t need us; He chose us.

I guess she could hire a nanny but no matter who she has taking care of her children she will be bashed over it by haters . I think she is very wise to entrust the care of her children to her mother but that is just my own personal opinion .I did the same thing when my children were growing up and my husband and I both had careers. I was very blessed that my mom was willing and able to do it. They both loved and respected their grandma and turned out fine.

I’m not ‘bashing’ her, Misty; and I’m not a ‘hater’. I don’t know if you were directing that at me, but if you were, that’s my denial.

I don’t doubt your children are wonderful. But like many women who came of age during the heyday of the ‘Women’s Movement’, I’ve had the last 40 yrs. to see the flaws in some of those arguments.

Now I’m indebted to the early feminists; they were right: For most of human history women have been disenfranchised and treated unequally. And it’s only in the last 150 years of human history (out of 50,000 years!) that that has been corrected. I’m a lawyer, and until recently (in human history) that was closed to me, to us all! As were all the professions!

But one of the flaws in the feminist argument is that we can ‘have it all’. We can’t; but not because of sexist oppression. We can’t ‘have it all’ because we’re the sex which conceives, gestates, gives birth, nurses, and nurtures. Now of course that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be educated, enter the professions, be paid equally, lead (in all areas of life), vote, etc. But it does mean that if we CHOOSE to become mothers, from the instant of conception it’s not ‘me first’ anymore. No: It’s the child first.

By the way men can’t ‘have it all’ either, if they CHOOSE to marry and become fathers.

Thank you for your post Misty.

At least Conway has a resume that shows he has actual experience in litigation instead of being some obscure bubble headed academic plucked from an ivory tower classroom, with which Obhammud overpopulated his administration. It took quite some time for the media to grudgingly recognize that Kellyanne was the first woman in US history to successfully direct a Presidential campaign so he understands injustice.

I listened to a Michael Savage download from last week and he hates Kellyanne Conway for some ridiculous reason – he’s lost his fu cking mind – he calls her a barfly (?), he attacks her for how she dresses, for having short nails, for kneeling on a couch to take a picture; I don’t get it, he’s more verbally violent against Kellyanne than he is against Nancy Pelosi. He insinuates she’s a slut, that she uses her children as props, that she’s damaging Trump’s Presidency and Trump should fire her. WTF ??? I know Savage is getting really old….maybe it’s time to retire, dementia starts slowly and when you start attacking one of our own it’s time to go.

Michael Savage does this from time to time, with everybody. I mean, he’s volatile. For example: You’ll never hear him say, ‘Last night I went to a restaurant and it was delicious, the service was great, it was out of this world.’ Never!

Those of us who listen to him religiously-and I have since 1994-do so because he is absolutely unfiltered. It’s all there, warts and all. He’s also an extraordinary wordsmith and utterly hilarious,

But mean-spirited at times? Yes. Like all of us, only I’m so glad I’m not on radio or TV when I am. So he has my respect and my admiration and more than that, I like him. He’s real. And there’s no greater patriot-none. https://youtu.be/jZpBFi1uNsA

Besides: He’s banned by ALL the media, even Fox! So I figure he’s doing a lot just-right.

Also-and I don’t know where you hail from-he’s quintessentially NYC. I’m from there too, so to me it’s something I miss hearing now that I don’t live there. He’s also the quintessential NYC Jew: Brilliant, acerbic, irresistible. NYC Jews and Italians have tons in common, and I’m the latter.

He’ll turn back to admiration of Kellyanne. And I agree with you that his schtick on her is utterly baseless.
