[the_ad id=”87125″]A surprising move from the notoriously sharia-compliant EU. But I suspect employers will be afraid to impose such a ban for fear of reprisals. It will be the Christians and Jews who will suffer. We have already seen employees fired for wearing the cross in the UK.

Bosses can ban workers from wearing headscarves, the top European Union’s court has ruled.
It is the court’s first decision on the issue of women wearing Islamic headscarves at work.
On the eve of the Dutch election where Muslim immigration has been a major theme, the Court of Justice gave a joined judgement in the cases of two women, in France and Belgium.
Employers are entitled to ban workers from the ‘visible wearing of any political, philosophical or religious sign’, including headscarves
The Belgian woman had been working as a receptionist for G4S Secure Solutions, which has a general ban on wearing visible religious or political symbols, while the French claimant is an IT consultant who was told to remove her headscarf when a client complained.
In a statement, the Court said: ‘An internal rule of an undertaking which prohibits the visible wearing of any political, philosophical or religious sign does not constitute direct discrimination,’ the Court said in a statement.
‘However, in the absence of such a rule, the willingness of an employer to take account of the wishes of a customer no longer to have the employer’s services provided by a worker wearing an Islamic headscarf cannot be considered an occupational requirement that could rule out discrimination.’

The face needs to be visible in public spaces, so facial recognition software can check for terrorists.

muslim women’s faces must be visible, so the evidence of beating and mutilation as islam allows, is visible to the public. Knowledge of islam is a good thing.

I don’t understand why hoards of people go to a land that is already set up with its customs and rules and culture and expect to inflict diametrically opposed views to the norm in said country. That would never happen in Saudi Arabia or Iran to mention two places. Only happens in the west where liberalism has forced pc nonsense on its hapless addled citizens.
The left set up its own countries with conflicts that will never be resolved.

If islam is studied and the way today’s muslims interpret and practice islam, there is much to be ashamed of and hide. In an age of electronic communication the total stupidity and primitive ignorance of islam is freely shared and widely know, Even the occasional muslim has enough of a soul to feel shame at what the qur’an says, and how other muslims practice it.

I don’t want to go to the bank, or a restaurant and have to do business with someone in a dirty headscarf. They knew the rules and expectations of their jobs when they took it. This is just pure opportunism. If they are allowed to do this, what’s next, demanding to stop traffic so they can pray en masse in the middle of an intersection?

In deference to standard security concerns, this only a sensible approach. Male suicide bombers have been wearing a full burqa with face covering. In the US, you are not allowed to enter a bank wearing a ski mask even in snow country. Put away the suicidal PC crap about discrimination.

The EU court got it partially right. They left themselves an out so the Jihadis will target the employer as opposed to the court. The EU court showing their true yellow colors. When the employer tells the nutty Muslim to remove the hijab, the nutty Muslim Jihadis will come for the employer not the judge who gave the employer the right to tell the nutty Muslim to remove the hijab. (Yes, I’m being redundant when I use nutty and Muslim back to back.)

Its “clothing jihad” versus equal rights for all others. Wear appropriate clothing in a true multicultural fashion and leave the political statements for the festivals. Westerners wear their shakespeare outfits to the renaissance festivals. Muslamics can wear their hijabs at their festivals.
