’50 perverts killed in bar’: Homophobic headline on Turkish newspaper with strong ties to country’s Obama’a ally President Erdogan

Here is the take from a “moderate” Muslim country — Turkey. The Turkish newspaper has links to the country’s President Erdogan — Obama’s “favorite,” most “trusted” foreign ally. No harsh words for Turkey from Obama, though.

This is not ISIS or al Qaeda or Hamas. This is a Turkish newspaper.

A Turkish newspaper with links to the country’s President has published a homophobic headline calling those who died in the Orlando mass shooting ‘perverts’ and ‘deviants’.

Yeni Akit, a right-wing newspaper which has supported the likes of Al-Qaeda in the past, broke news of the attack with the headline: ‘Death toll rises to 50 in bar where perverted homosexuals go!’

The headline has caused a backlash online, where it has been suggested that the exclamation mark indicates that the paper is celebrating the attack, rather than condemning it.

Akit, which is a far-right publication known for hate speech against gays, Jews and Christians, was able publish the story despite increasing crackdowns on press freedoms in Turkey

Yeni Akit has long supported Turkey’s Justice and Development Party (AKP), which President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan used to lead.

The paper, whose name means ‘New Agreement, is also known for having strong links to Erdogan, in a country where press freedom is being heavily restricted by his government.

According to Turkish think-tank the Hrant Dink Foundation, Yeni Akit is one of the worst offenders when it comes to using hate speech against minorities, in particular the LGBT community, but also against Jews, Armenians and Christians.

In just four months in 2013, when the foundation competed its last survey, they found 175 articles where hate speech was directed at one of eight separate minority groups.

At least 50 people were killed and another 53 wounded at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, in the early hours of Sunday when gunman Omar Mateen, 29, from Port St. Lucie, opened fire.

Mateen, whose parents are of Afghan descent, took another 30 people hostage while wearing what is believed to have been a suicide vest, but was shot before he could detonate it.

SWAT officers used a controlled explosion to distract Mateen before shooting him dead in a hail of gunfire, with police chiefs saying their actions likely saved ‘many lives.’

ISIS has since claimed responsibility for the attack, though it is unclear exactly what connection Mateen has to the group.

While Mateen called 911 shortly before the attack to pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, the spiritual leader of the terror group, security services say they have no evidence of contact between him and the organization prior to the attack.

Erdogan has been attempting to crack down on negative headlines about his administration in an attempt to bolster his increasingly unpopular reputation as many Turks feel his views do not represent their own.

According to Freedom House, an NGO which monitors democratic freedoms around the world, Turkish press freedom has deteriorated sharply over the past several years.

In 2015 alone, three journalists were killed in connection with their work, while dozens more were prosecuted by the government under anti-terrorism laws for reports critical of the government.

Erdogan was personally called out by the group for inciting violence against several publications, including one whose offices were attacked several times over the year.

Accreditation for journalists was also brought under further government control, allowing officials to handpick reporters for prominent positions.

Because of this, publications that are allowed to operate freely – such as Akit – are seen to be voicing the de-facto views of Erdogan and his regime.

Kinda like the pot calling the kettle black, Sometimes I wonder which is more perverse, deviant, and vile, muslims or LGBT’s. But at least the headline was more honest than most headlines in the U.S.

Of course LGBTQ is against the nature of God..but they are human beings and as bad as they are and as bad as the Islamic terrorist are can one believe it? God still loves us all. Because He is a loving God.
He is sad Because what we are doing is against his nature. If we don’t return to God we set doomed..

LGBTQ does not go against nature. The exact opposite is true. People are born that way the same way I assume you were born straight. There is homosexuality in many species but homophobia in only one. Gay people are not bad. They are hurting absolutely no one.

The very definition of your alphabet soup description of perversity goes against nature and nature’s God. Sodomites are people engaged in sexual perversity, a grossly unnatural and gravely immoral activity. Dying unrepentant of such activity lands one in hell. I don’t want those souls in hell. How about you? You do realize that running cover and excusing sodomite activity makes you culpable, don’t you?

Each and every one of those people killed deserved the chance to live out their lives so that they might REPENT of their perversion before it’s too late. The murderer robbed them of that opportunity thereby sealing the fate of mortally sinful souls which was not for him to do. But when you pretend that mortally sinful activity is fine and dandy, thus comforting your brother in mortal sin and thus encouraging him to continue in it, you are doing the same thing. Do the math on that one buddy. You’re killing souls just like the jihadi did, except without bullets.

Hate to be blunt but there are worse things going on in the world than what someone does or does not do with their butt hole. And if you choose to engage your prostate your not going to Hell over it.

I’m neither a homosexual, nor religious. Nevertheless, I still find religion, it’s history, and churches and synagogues aesthetically pleasing and would never in a million years want to see them replaced with mosques and their vile minarets. That would deeply upset me. Let us look at the very big picture – Islam is a MASSIVE threat to all non Muslim western civilisation. Gay people from my perspective are not. However, I do indeed respect your right to an opinion. However, if I was yourself, I would only say they’re a threat to ‘society.’ Big difference, indeed. I’m neither pro or anti LGBT, but I DO know, we must all be very vigilant against the islamisation of the western world. That is FAR more important this year, and for many years to come. That, we all know.

Muslims. LBGT don’t want to behead or convert us to a death cult. They also don’t go around raping women or under age girls/boys like in Sweden or Germany. Big distinction, imo.

Walid Shoebat should know, he is an Ex Muslim Terrorist now bornagain Christian.
ISLAM IS THE RELIGION OF HOMOSEXUALITY AND PEDOPHILIA
http://shoebat.com/2014/12/05/islam-religion-homosexuality-pedophilia/

Muslims, Just admit it, that you’re all a bunch of lying, hypocrites who’ll blindly do anything the Qur’an & Hadith tells you to do.
If it said babies are good to eat, you’d kill your own babies and eat them. If it said up was down, and drinking camel pee was healthy for you, you’d believe it.
You’re willfully blind because you don’t care enough about your own soul enough to question Islam. You’re willing to die for the enemy of our souls without ever questioning him.

God wants you to question everything. He wants you to search for Him, then you will find Him. Read the Bible and ask God to help you understand it. Don’t listen to your Imams, your family or anyone else.
The real God who is everyone’s Creator loves us all. God is not hate. He is Love.
Even the demons know who he is and they’re afraid of Him. The ONLY name that exorcists use to cast demons out is JESUS CHRIST.

Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Don’t lose your soul for anything or anyone. It is the most valuable thing that you own. Open your heart today and begin searching for the true God. He knows your heart. If you’re honestly seeking, He’ll reveal Himself to you.
Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Turkey..moderate Muslim country???More and more we are seeing g that there are no moderate Muslim countries as well as .no
Moderate muslims..They are Islamic countries.and as long as they follow the teachings of muhammad, the koran, actually written after his murder, and other Islamic teachings and texts, which gives authority for what happened in Orlando and many other places throughout the world, then there can really be no moderate muslims…

look for our so called leaders to warn against backlash against Muslims instead of pushing against them for what their CULT is doing to the world.

But millions of Iraqis weren’t killed in Iraq by Dubya allahtard, the majority of people killed in Iraq back then, and even today, were killed in muslum-on-muslum violence.

Obama was right to want tighter gun controls to avert mass shootings and consistently denounces terrorism. The latest offender managed to buy a rifle designed for military action, which gun regulation might have prevented. American people demanded the freedom to purchase high power weapons, which resulted in an undemocratic tragedy. Time for a nation to mourn the stupidity of demanding ready access to lethal weapons.

Islamic democracy is an oxymoron. We have a major problem in the West reconciling approval of death penalties for homosexuality and women who refuse to marry homosocial misogynist men, and yet fail to screen the ideology of people who emigrate into the West supposedly seeking greater security or asylum from the violence endorsed in their native homes. Violence infects the world if individuals feel entitled to retain hateful bigotry at their core.
