I know they’re very few, but I pray for them & theirs. I also pray for for the dhimmis, for what happens to them might happen to our children/grandchildren.

I’m old, Mahou, and the oldest of our grandchildren are now young adults and I see the world they’re in and I fear for them. So I pray.

Gratitude is ins short supply, promises are fulfilled by those who do what is right, not what is convenient. We were given the terrifying gift of freedom, when used properly, it is ok to say “We did this by ourselves” with reference to humanities great achievements.

Humanity has been given the gift of freedom to use our individual gifts as how we choose, with eventual accountability for what was done. Heaven helps those who help themselves.

There is where we differ, I maintain that once the ball of life is rolling, the creator watches it, until it rolls back to its creator. Ask and it shall be given, knock and the door shall be opened, both actions require the petitioner to do something for themselves.

That is ok to a point, but there are those who do some rather unpleasant things, saying they are doing the work of heaven. All I can do, is hope I am not screwing up my free will excessively.

True, not every one that says “Father” will get into heaven, it is necessary to behave.

No one it perfect, the Creator knows what we are, all we have to do is put out a reasonable effort towards following a few basic rules. The “straight and narrow” is actually scenic and wide. We were made to pass this way once, the trip can be pleasant if we want it to be.

Sometimes one has to have faith is what’s available. Most religions that I have looked at, have the equivalent of our “Ten Commandments” as well as codes on conduct and cultural issues that are possible to synchronize with each other. Tolerance and mutual respect are part of those societies. For a muslim, to complain about islam is to sentence themselves to death for apostasy, it is enforced. islam is criminally insane violent evil.

Despite popular opinion, I think there is such a thing as a moderate muslim, it there wasn’t, the carnage we see from the minority, would be many times worse. However, muslims have to be viewed with hostile suspicion until proven that they are not as violent as they are told to be in the qur’an.

The ones I know are local, there are a few potentially stupid muslims around town, then, there are a few decent ones who are “secular” muslims in that they follow the positive practices of islam, applying them to everyone, not just muslims.

Under a secular government, there would be no favouritism to law abiding tolerant organizations. Intolerant violence is not to be endured for one second.

So in Lia’s heaven, run by her god, heaven has absolutely no members that have been there before Jesus was declared a saviour since they have to know that jesus is their saviour to be able to gain entry, as well as having followed his teachings on what it takes to get in there in the first place. It contains very few asians since so few follow Christianity, and it would also not have families pets since animals are not religious either. Must be a very lonely place filled with mostly white people born over the last century or two that have even heard of jesus. Think of how much more you could have done with your life with the time spent worshipping a guy that died 2000 yrs ago. I would rather believe in santa clause, he just wants you to behave decently, he doesn’t require that you waste 10 or 20 percent of your life kissing his ass. I have no problem being a good person, I do have issues with someone telling me I need to worship them or else suffer miserably for eternity in a hot place. Religion is for people that can’t handle the reality that we live a short time and they need something to look forward to so they don’t get depressed knowing that this is the only life they will ever have. If they spent their time enjoying this life, they wouldn’t need imaginary people telling them its better after they die. Go play in a park this sunday and skip church, you may discover that it’s a lot more fun and have an epiphany and realize how much of your life is being wasted on worshipping something that does not exsist. Either way, enjoy life, it’s the only one you have
